The DarkVault™ Critical Gear Case keeps essential gear safe. Available without our proprietary signal blocking capabilities, the DarkVault-Comms cases protect the gear you rely on to complete the mission. Note: A different product, the DarkVault 2.0, is offered in smaller sizes and comes in both blocking and comms (non-blocking) versions.

The DarkVault Critical Gear Case was developed with input from active-duty military and federal law enforcement. They wanted professional-grade levels of protection while keeping gear immediately accessible for navigation and communication tasks. Our original DarkVault was manufactured in a blocking version when first released. However, this model has been discontinued.
The original DarkVault Critical Gear Case is no longer offered in a blocking version, but the DarkVault 2.0 has both blocking and comms (non-blocking) versions.

DarkVault-Comms cases are not rated for prolonged submersion or diving.

Nice but too expensive
I refused to pay $89 for the the version that blocked cell and gps signals so I purchased the “Comms” version when it was on sale. Very fine construction and nice features. Have not taken it into the field yet. My suggestion to Thyrm is to make different sizes (large enough to place portable ham or GMRS radios) and reduce the price.
