The Arisaka Side Scout Mount (SSM) is designed for use with Surefire Scout Lights, the Arisaka 300 and 600 Series, and the Streamlight Protac Rail Mount lights. It replaces the stock Picatinny rail adapter with a low profile mount for KeyMod handguards, and tucks the light underneath either side of the ATPIAL laser/illuminator series, including the ATPIAL-C, AN/PEQ15, and LA-5/PEQ. It will also allow the light to clear the QD lever on the Steiner DBAL I2, A3, and D2.
The SSM is compatible with the Surefire M300A, M300B, M300C, M600B, M600C, M600P, M600U, M600V, M600DF, Streamlight Protac Rail Mount 1, 2 and HL-X, and Arisaka 300 and 600 Series.
As a bonus, the Side Scout Mount also works nicely on the Sig MPX and MCX KeyMod handguards.

The mount is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodized. Includes necessary screws to attach light body to mount. Requires a T15 and IP20/T20 Torx driver for installation (not included). A T9 Torx driver is required to remove the stock Picatinny mount from Surefire Scout Lights. Recommended torque: 20 inch lbs for KeyMod and light body screws with medium strength threadlocker. Cerakote provided by Weapon Works LLC. Made in the USA.

Best light mount
I’ve tried a lot of light mounts over my years. This is hands down the best way to mount a light at the 1300 in conjunction with a dbal/suppressor of any kind. Whether it be the mlok/keymod/picatinny version, it’s awesome. It is the only direct mount that nests the light in with the dbal while clearing it from contacting the suppressor (I have a manta cover on my S Co).
