ATS Triple M4 Shingle

The ATS Triple M4 Mag Shingle is designed to securely hold three individual M4 mags in a flat configuration that is preferable to double or triple magazine pouches when going to the prone position. It features an open top design with adjustable shock cord retention straps. These straps securely hold your loaded mags in place and allow you to quickly and quietly remove them when they are needed. ATS M4-style pouches are all sized on the PMag, so fitting all quality 30 round M4 magazines is no problem.

The pouch has three rows of MOLLE compatible webbing on the front (3 rows and 2 channels per cell) allowing you to stack two panels on top of each other or to add other modular pouches on top of it, such as a pistol magazine or multi-tool pouch. This gives you the flexibility to "layer" pouches. Though not originally part of the design, the user can also use one of the mag slots to carry a pistol with light attached. It attaches to any MOLLE compatible platform using our L-Strap attachment system.

The Triple M4 Mag Shingle measures about 9.5 inches tall by about 6 inches wide and about 1.5 inches deep. It takes 6 channels and 6 rows of MOLLE space.

All ATS- made gear is made in the USA of quality mil-spec components, it is backed with a lifetime guarantee against defects in manufacturing materials and workmanship.

    great quality, good functionality

This pouch is of the highest quality. Each pouch is separated, not conjoined. The downside is insertion is VERY difficult, especially with the bungee straps on. It is IMPOSSIBLE to utilize KYWI inserts with these pouches. Once the KWYI is in, it is impossible to insert the mag. I cannot imagine how difficult removal would be if one DID get a mag in the KYWI. Perhaps if one MADE KYWI out of 0.060 kydex vs 0.093 it could work.

    Nice Mag Pouch

Posted by Chris on 3rd Apr 2015

This is a very nice mag pouch. I have not beat it to death for months yet, so I can't speak to its durability, but I like it so far. It seems well made and mounted to my plate carrier easily and securely. I did not need the screwdriver, crowbar, or third hand to thread this through the molle that I have needed with some pouches I've used in the past. Plus it shipped quickly with SKD's great customer service.

    ATS Triple Shingle

Very nice shingle by ATS. Never owned one of their products before, but I can say I am definitely going to be a return buyer. It's a little difficult to insert and draw P-Mags, but it is comfortable and works very well never-the-less.

    Awesome Shingle

Keeps my mags nice and snug. The pouch itself is very lightweight. The bungee retention is nice, not to stiff, not too loose.

    Extremely Tight/Difficult to Insert Mags

Posted by J Feathers on 10th Jan 2015

It can be very difficult to insert mags into the pouch. When you move the bungee retention out of the way to insert a mag, it causes the material to pinch and bunch up, and can cause the edge of the pouch to fold inward when inserting the mag. The pouch itself is extremely tight using both USGI and Magpul magazines. They could hold the mags without the use of the retention cords. I have them loaded right now which took lots of effort in hoping they stretch out. In all honesty, you will spend as much time or more trying to load/reload these pouches as you would the individual 2-mag pouches with flap. They do their job in holding mags. The price is nice.

    Good overall

Pretty typical mag carrier. The built-in molle straps are alright, but I prefer Malice clips to snaps. The tag end of the straps is easy to accidentally pull out, but definitely not a deal breaker for the price.

I like the way you d o not need to pull the elastic over the mag to keep them in place but still easily pull one when you need one.
