Just what I wanted.
I wanted to mount my tourniquet to my body armor without adding bulk to my gear. The Blue Force gear Tourniquet NOW strap is just what I wanted. The tourniquet is securely held in place but easily removed when I need it.

Great Piece of Kit
Holds you tourniquet in place with the quick easy access of a simple rubber band without the hassel of the damn rubber band breaking all the time. A must have for your kit.

Fast and easy
I have three of these holders, one on my armor and two on my packs. I was a bit leary of them at first, thinking that it would be slow and complicated to pull a tourniquet out of the holder, but after two or three practice runs I was sold. The strap itself comes right out of the molle fast, but remains in place without fail until it is actually pulled out. After that a simple downward pull yanks the CAT right out of the strap. I'm done with affixing tourniquets to my gear with tied elastic, or opening them up and looping them through my gear. All it requires is three vertical rows of molle one cell deep. I am definitely buying more of these for every pack I own.

Gear review
Not much to say about this simple piece of gear. Its brilliant, deploys a CAT tourniquet effortlessly, and takes up little space on your RACK. I have this mounted to the left side of an Eagle Plate carrier right between my med kit, and a utility pouch and can access the CAT from the top easily if seated, or pull straight down and access from the bottom if need be. I've had this on my kit for about 3 months now and it's holding up nicely.

Simple, but great!
I found it's actually pretty easy to install if you just fold up the elastic and slide the whole thing under the webbing instead of trying to bend it. The strap holds the tourniquet very securely (and unlike rubber bands or other methods, it won't break!), yet it is still easy to access the tourniquet. For only $8, definitely worth picking up one of these.

Works well
For the price, this is an excellent piece of gear. The elastic bands holds the tourniquet securely. It is also easy to remove the tourniquet when necessary.

I said NOW!
The Blue Force Gear Tourniquet NOW! Strap is a great addition to your tactical gear. It can be used on any vest, plate carrier, or tactical gear that has three rows of PALS webbing. Once the Tourniquet NOW! Strap is installed, you can use the elastic webbing on top to secure tourniquets, a strap cutter, a multi-tool, or any other gear you can squeeze into the elastic loops. I bought mine to ride on top of the Blue Force Gear Trauma Kit NOW! pouch and it fits great. I use a SOF-T tourniquet and it folds up and is held very securely on top of my medical pouch. If you don't use a medical pouch that has room to attach the Tourniquet NOW! Strap, you can mount the strap to any warbelt, vest, go bag, etc with MOLLE/PALS webbing to secure your tourniquet. I highly recommend this product and it serves me well. I feel confident that if something bad ever happnens that requires a tourniquet, I will have my at the ready in the BFG Tourniquet NOW strap.

Lifesaver
This is a very handy piece of equipment, and is quite valuable too. Many people rely on rubber bands to secure their tourniquets, and while this does indeed work rubber bands still has a tendency to dry up and snap off with great ease after being either in the sun, general dry and hot environments or just by being stretched for prolonged periods of time. Which is why this little piece of gear really is a lifesaver. It keeps the tourniquet on at all times without deteriorating in quality and it's strength lies in it's simple design; the entire base is the fastening mechanism that hooks to the MOLLE webbing on your rig/pouch/belt/ruck. Pros: +Keeps the tourniquet secure yet allows for a fast and smooth draw +A simple design that just works +Can easily be fastened to the MOLLE webbing on the outside of an IFAK pouch for fast and easy access. Cons: -Is a royal pain to attach and move due to the thickness of the streching loops gertting caught in the webbing if it's too tight.

An item you can count on.
This is a good strap. Very easy to release the tourniquet, but holds to to it quite good when it is strapped and you do demanding physical work.
