If you're a "lighter is better" shooter, our Recon Mat will help keep you super mobile and super accurate. Different camo patterns on both sides make this mat another industry first. We also build our unique bipod rail into both sides of the mat for greater stability and shooting accuracy. it's two mats in one! MultiCam Arid is featured on one side, Multicam on the other. A camo pattern to match your surroundings no matter where you happen to be. Lighter, tougher, more mobile, 2 camo patterns and sewn in bipod rails on both sides to give you greater stability and accuracy. Grommets to pin it down, flat bungee straps to hold it closed, Molle to attach it if you want - lots of useful options in a supremely mobile configuration. Only 1.2 lbs and made of two layers of 500D cordura for toughness. Full mil-spec webbing, packs to a small 14" x 3" size.
Padded version adds a sewn in layer of premium American-made foam, closed cell, 1/8 thick. Gives just enough extra protection and insulation from the elements. Adds 6 ounces weight.

Quailty product
Seems really well made. The padding is thin but dense, the mat is lightweight for carry but seems durable and well thought out.

Crosstac Mat (padded)
Great little mat that folds up small, is lightweight and has a reasonable footprint. Do not expect it to fit the length of your body if you use the bipod stop. It just gives your upper body a clean surface to shoot prone from.

Awesome gear for your shooting kit
I have one of these mats for each of the packs I carry when I'm out the door for the Military, the Police and my civilian pursuits. Highly recommended. Good compact size and perfect pattern for every shooting environment.

Crosstac Shooting Mat
I bought this, more or less, on a whim. I wasn't really in the market for a shooting mat, but with the discounted price I couldn't really pass it up. The quality is superb, and the padding really helps quell the pain of little rocks in the knees and elbows when you go prone. The best part; MultiCam on one side, ATACS on the other. It can also double as a camp mat if you need some extra padding under a sleeping bag.
