Solid product
I was concerned about retention but these things are great. I’ve used other more pricey taco styles and my mags continually fell out (if there was a fight or I had to go hands on they always fell out). Not so with these. These are super solid. I highly recommend these.

Esstac 40 degree pouch
I have this paired side by side with the Esstac 70 degree pouch and it functions great at competitions, while it isn’t a double alpha in speed it makes up for in durability and reliability.

ESSTAC 40 v 70 degree pistol KYWI
I wanted to play around with the concept of strong-side angled reloads. I bought both the 40 and 70 degree versions. wearing them was very comfortable and presented no issues. Reloads were more efficient from the 40. You're mileage may vary so I recommend buying both and seeing what works best for you. I definitely recommend these.

Esstac 70ish
Bought the 40 but was sent the 70 and threw the package without realizing it. The 70s great in general as a canted mag pouch. The attachment Velcro allows for some overlap of another canted pouch for some space saving effects. Overall draw and retention are on par with esstac offerings. The only downside is the mounting seems a bit flimsy and takes a good amount of space. The 40ish would be better for clearing gear more so than the 70.
