Esstac M4 KYWI Double Mag Pouch - Shorty

Everybody needs at least one immediate reload pouch, and the ESSTAC M4 KYWI- SHORTY is at the top of its class. Measuring only 3.5" tall, the SHORTY leaves a ton of mag to grab while maintaining firm retention, making it ideal for your molle battle belt or plate carrier.

Add to that the fact that the ESSTAC KYWI series is fully depth adjustable, means you can increase the amount of magazine that is protected by the pouch. The SHORTY can even handle your 20 round mags, and your SureFire 60's. NUFF SAID. Made in USA by the Camano Cave Man and his PacNW sewing crew.

Requires 4 short Malice Clips, not included.

    Great for Mounting on a Belt

    My primary reloads come from my belt for both rifle and pistol, and I wanted something with good retention and quick access. Haven't tried FastMags, so I can't compare to them. However, I like them better than HSGI Tacos for the fact that they are not covered in exposed shock cord. I went with shorties for my belt so I can get more purchase on the mags when doing reloads. Great retention and easy to get my mags in and out (Aluminum USGI, Thermold, and Lancer L5AWM).

    These Esstac shorties are just flat out awesome, open top/speed reload mag pouches! I had my doubts on the kryptek camo, initially, but figured it was worth a shot and I'm loving this highlander pattern. And, SKD has the outright, absolute, best shipping and customer service in the business. A++ all the way around.

    I did not know what to expect when I got these pouches but I am super pleased. My only gripe is the kydex insert was bent with such an angle getting mags in and out is a little tough, but that is not a huge deal.

    First off its great because you arent confined to just using 1 type of mag like a typical kydex holster, you can use ANY type of mag and still fits like a glove. Worked perfect for both 20rnd and 30rnd body mags. 100% highly recommend you to buy

    Best 5.56 mag pouch

    I was using HSGI Taco's but really did not like the way they worked for me. I had some other KYWI mag pouches both long and short. I liked both but prefer the shorty mag pouches due to being able to get a better grip on the mag when I am grabbing one. If you are just running 5.56 mag's then these KYWI pouches are the one and only way to go. The only thing you need to decide on is which ones. Either the long or shorty ones.

    I adjusted the kydex a little lower in the pouch so a 30 round mag would sit deeper. It works great with outstanding retention.

    The kydex retention is awesome. Mags insert and extract well also too. There's no shock-cord or flaps to worry about. Two thumbs up!
