esstac "shorty pouch "
Great product ... allows an excellent grip on mag. , works w/ bullets to front or rear stowed , fast out / easy in and good retention. Perfect for competition , training & home defense rig ... if I were back in an operational role again I would choose the full size Esstac pouch ....( not for active jump status though , IMO ...)

Excellent Product
Best pouches I have ever used. Low profile allows for more of the mag to be exposed which makes my combat mag changes easier and faster. Yet the mags are very secure and do not fall out when running and moving into kneeling and prone positions. should consider making low profile pistol mag pouches as well......

Better then the Fastmag
This was mounted on my Crye Battle Belt to hold (2) M4 Pmags for speed reloads. Pros: Low profile, smooth draw, great retention, simple, quiet compared to Fastmag when bumping and rubbing up against equipment and obstacles. Cons: Nothing

GOOD STUFF MAYNARD!
The ESSTAC shorty is what it says small and quickly accessible. I bought the 2 mag holder and now realize I should have went 3. the rest of my rig is TAG banshee plate rig and costa leg rig all a great comb with the shorty.

Very impressive...
Bought these shorty's for a couple of 20 round mags but they work just as well with 30's. I know I will be buying more Esstac KYWI. Wish they made a doubledecker 2XAR15+2XPistol. Thanks SKD.

These mag pouches are awsome with 20rd pmags. Perfect for riggers a belt application. I purchased these and the ITW fastmags and would rate them closely together but both are awsome, extremely high quality products. Great Retention, a mag will not slip out of these but are easy to draw. SKD Sets the standard in my opinion for online shopping. Lightning fast shipping for free...

Size matters
This pouch works great. I'm still breaking it in but so far it has worked perfectly. The best feature is that it works with 30 round, 20 round, or 10 round mags. This pouch offers good retention even while running.

Two Mags for the Battle Belt
I got this to add to my Battle Belt. I have the full size Esstac M4 KYWI pouches on my plate carrier and I love them. The shortys are nice too. The Kydex inserts hold very tight. I did notice that inserting a mag is more difficult on the shortys but, when you're putting them in, you've got more time. Taking them out is where you need speed.

Excellent mag pouch
These pouches work great in all areas. They're made well, they attach easily, you can get a great grip on your mag while they have great retention on fully loaded Pmags, and..what else do you need them to do? They're great, easy to use mag pouches! Buy a set or 3!
