Esstac M4 KYWI Double Mag Pouch - Shorty

Everybody needs at least one immediate reload pouch, and the ESSTAC M4 KYWI- SHORTY is at the top of its class. Measuring only 3.5" tall, the SHORTY leaves a ton of mag to grab while maintaining firm retention, making it ideal for your molle battle belt or plate carrier.

Add to that the fact that the ESSTAC KYWI series is fully depth adjustable, means you can increase the amount of magazine that is protected by the pouch. The SHORTY can even handle your 20 round mags, and your SureFire 60's. NUFF SAID. Made in USA by the Camano Cave Man and his PacNW sewing crew.

Requires 4 short Malice Clips, not included.

    M4 KYWI Double Mag Pouch

Posted by John on 8th Mar 2013

Great mag pouch. I wanted something small that would go on a belt and keep my PMAG close to my body. With the short MALICE clips this works great. The retention is perfect. Holds the mags tightly but are easy to draw for a reload. The design also makes reinserting the mags just as easy. I will be buying another one for my 7.62 mags.

    Great Pouches!

Just ran these during training over the weekend- magazines were retained even while wet and low-crawling through mud and dense brush, yet released with little effort during speed reloads.

    Esstac M4 Mag Pouch

These mag pouches are amazing. I have already recommended them to other officers and look forward to doing business with SKD in the future. I also wanted to say that it is so refreshing to see manufacture take the stance against this absolutely absurd gun control push. Your asshole-proofed magpul pmag is a wonderful idea. Thank you very much for taking a stance for our rights as Americans. Matt R. Reising Panora Police Chief Panora, IA

    great design, less weight

Posted by wynn on 10th Jan 2013

I bought this because it was small and light. The design is durable and gets the job done great and fast. The plastic inserts help hold the magazine in very very very well. Guaranteed the mag will never fall out. The only thibg i would do to it would be to soften the plastic inserts. It could be a bit trickytoo pull the mag out without some modification. But overall. Great product!

    ESSTAC Shorty M4 Pouch

Posted by Unknown on 17th Dec 2012

A lot of positive reviews but personally I'm not very happy with these pouches. I have them on my battle belt, weak side and I'm having issues with rentention with a fully loaded AR magazine. The pouch tends to bend out from the weight of the magazines, and I actually lost a mag during a drill. On my PC the pouches are fine, and seem to retain the magazines well and close to the body (unlike a battle belt). I'd recommend a differant pouch, or the ESSTAC standard size m4 pouches for a battle belt rig.

    Best yet

I'm a huge fan of molded kydex mag pouches. Although they don't work great on a war belt setup. These are the best of both worlds. Super retention, yet the draw is very fast and smooth. Also very easy to put the mag back in. Really the best mag pouch I've used!

Awesome piece of gear. Keeps mags secure, mounts solid without cramping your fingers. A+

Great low profile quick reload pouch

Ive used fastmags, hsgi tacos and these. These seem the best for a belt setup. Simple but effective retention and a low profile setup.
