Esstac M4 KYWI Single Mag Pouch - Shorty

Everybody needs at least one immediate reload pouch, and the ESSTAC M4 KYWI- SHORTY is at the top of its class. Measuring only 3.5" tall, the SHORTY leaves a ton of mag to grab while maintaining firm retention, making it ideal for your molle battle belt or plate carrier.

Add to that the fact that the ESSTAC KYWI series is fully depth adjustable, means you can increase the amount of magazine that is protected by the pouch. The SHORTY can even handle your 20 round mags, and your SureFire 60's. NUFF SAID. Made in USA by the Camano Cave Man and his PacNW sewing crew.

Requires 2 short Malice Clips.

    I am a function over form guy when it comes to gear. How pretty it is (Cool factor) is not even a secondary concern for me. In the field my concerns are; durability, retention, and ease of use. The Kywi checks all the boxes for me, and I have no issue recommending them to others for use in difficult situations. I must also give credit to SKD for even having the Kywi products, as much of this type of gear is getting hard to find in stock. Their site is easy to navigate, I received the items in perfect condition. I would caution using the USPS method of delivery, it takes forever. Bite the bullet and go with a faster, easier to track method of shipping.

    Great product, mags fit real tight which is much better than loose and they CAN be modified to loosen up. Shorty left plenty of mag to grab ahold of.

    I have found that the shortys work well on my leg rig and offer a low profile, easy access and secure way to carry my AR mags.

    Great mag pouch and the shorty fits / works great as a spare mag pouch on my HSGI padded belt. The kydex insert can be modified with just a little heat from a hair dryer if you want it tighter or a little less tight. Esstac makes a great product.

    Esstacs mag carrier is a quality piece with good retention and able to do speed reloads as well.Stitching and fabric are top notch.

    I thought it was going to be cheap, but the quality is really nice and the retention is almost too tight, I loosened it with a hair dryer and it works perfectly now. I would recommend anyone that has used Taco pouches to try these.
