Esstac M4 KYWI Single Mag Pouch - Shorty

Everybody needs at least one immediate reload pouch, and the ESSTAC M4 KYWI- SHORTY is at the top of its class. Measuring only 3.5" tall, the SHORTY leaves a ton of mag to grab while maintaining firm retention, making it ideal for your molle battle belt or plate carrier.

Add to that the fact that the ESSTAC KYWI series is fully depth adjustable, means you can increase the amount of magazine that is protected by the pouch. The SHORTY can even handle your 20 round mags, and your SureFire 60's. NUFF SAID. Made in USA by the Camano Cave Man and his PacNW sewing crew.

    This pouch is perfect for battle belts. It fits just right onto two rows of MOLLE and the retention is great. I've never lost a mag, but you can't lightly pull the mag out, it takes a good pull to get it out.

    The SHORTY is perfect for its intended use, a quick 'happy mag' reload pouch. It positions the mag a little higher than my other mag pouch, which makes the mag easier to go to first. Well done.

    Love these mag pouches because I can switch out different magazine makes without having to switch out magcarriers. Great retention and easy to do speed reloads. Highly recommend.

    I thought they looked great but was turned off by the price and tried a variety of other items. After not being totally satisfied I bought some of the ESSTAC gear (M4, pistol, AR10 pouches) I wished I had bought these to start with. They are slick and low profile. Hold the mags great. I bought the shorty pouches and they hold tight. No need for a long pouch for security. These will not fall out. I had a love hate relationship with the malic clips but eventually got the hang of them. They allow the pouch to be very low profile. The construction is top notch. I went back and purchased a 2nd round after I received the first batch.

    Retains mag very well

    It retains the mags very well I have it attached to my HSGI belt and they retain mags through all maneuvers. Run and Gun, urban prone, simulated supine, etc. It retains PMAG's a little to well can pull belt up is not secured tightly around waist.

    Takes a little breaking in for smooth function but works fine and holds well without a strap.

    Shipping was extremely fast. These pouches hold the magazines firmly but release easily when snatched. They will not fall out or be pushed out without intention.

    Nice and tight. Great for 30rd mags, perfect for 20rd mags and works great with 10rd mags with a magpul ranger plates! I'm able to adjust the amount of tension on the mags by how far I insert the mags into the pouch. Highly recommended!

    And got it on, right and tight. Works perfectly on my belt, with more practice my mag changes are going to be MUCH faster. Very good product!
