Esstac Pistol KYWI Double Mag Pouch

Based on the runaway success of the M4 KYWI line of pouches, ESSTAC is proud to introduce their new Pistol KYWI pouch line up for the discerning shooter.

Constructed of a double layer 1000D Cordura body and backing, the Pistol KYWI pouch is made to survive abrasion while the minimalist design keeps the weight to a minimum. Measuring 3.5" tall, the Pistol KYWI pouch allows for full depth adjustment so you can have most or almost none of your Double Stack pistol magazine sticking out beyond the top edge of the pouch.

Made to fit most common 9/40 double stack pistol magazines, the Pistol KYWI pouch will hold up to a Glock 21 magazine, but will NOT retain a single stack 1911 mag.

The Pistol KYWI pouch makes a great addition for Molle padded belts, and attaches via 2 Short Malice Clips (not included). These pouches retain your mags with authority yet release them lightning fast when grabbed. Made by the magical nylon and kydex fairies of Camano Island, WA, USA.

Simply put.... One of the best all around pouches ive ever fielded. Quailty and craftsmanship is excellent. For mag specific pouches these cannot be beat.

    XDM40 mag compatible

Posted by Joey Jingles on 19th Mar 2014

I have had trouble finding a pouch that would secure the SS XDM40 ; 16 rd mags after trying Taco's, TT magna mags, Blackhawk Strike and others. I purchased a Kywi single pistol pouch and was sold on their performance. The only downside is the single pouch can sway left or right by a half inch from center. This double pouch does not have that movement because of the common backing that connects them and they sit solidly in place. This pouch is outstanding to both insert a mag into or draw out of. MC was out of stock and SKD sent email of their arrival as promised and delivery was their typical rush performance. Thank you SKD for a great experience !

    Great mag pouch

Posted by Unknown on 17th Jan 2014

I was originally on the fence about the KYWI mag pouches, simply due to their price. $60+ to hold only three mags? Well after I bit the bullet and had the pouch in my possession, I realized how much they are worth it. You have immediate access to your magazines, without relying on bungie cord with say, the TACO pouches. The kydex retainers are very strong and hold the mags well in place and even take a bit of a pull to get a mag out, which I find is nice. The only con I see is that ESSTAC doesn't have enough distributors and it seems as though it takes quite awhile for pouches to come into stock - not a knock on SKD at all, I'm glad they carry them.

Good service, but just one problem....

Posted by Venancio Catimon on 17th Jan 2014

SKDtac had good serviece and fast shipping. The only problem was, I never received my package. I ordered some mag pouches early January, and I was supossed to receive it on the 9th. It is now the 16th and I have nothing. It's not SKDtac's fault, it's the post office fault. The last stop it reached was Bell Hatdens CA. This facility has nothing but one star reviews. All the reviews say their packages never arrived, and that Bell Gardens was a black hole of packages because they end up missing/stolen...

    Double Mag Pouches

Posted by Fritz on 8th Dec 2013

My search for a hard mag pouch to fit my G-21 mags ended in a perfect fit with the Esstac product. Further, I was able to double stack them on my FastMag AR pouches conserving space on my battle belt. Great product.

    Awesome retention

Posted by Austin Sneed on 8th Dec 2013

What more is there to say? I run these mag pouches on my belt and they flirt so perfectly with being too tough to get out in a hurry and staying in until I need them. Perfect design.

    Esstac Kiwi

Simply the best mag pouches out there, in my humble opinion. Holds them tight, but very quick for reloads. If you try them, you will be hooked.

    The Best Pistol Mag Pouch

I used these pouches in a tactical pistol course and they held up great. They hold the perfect amount of retention for Glock magazines.

    Dig'em

    Posted by S.G. on 21st Aug 2013

Without covers or bungees I feel this is the closest and best thing for secured mags. Holds my Glock 17 mags well. My reloads are effective and quick. I dig'em. Shipping was fast.
