Esstac Pistol KYWI Double Mag Pouch
Based on the runaway success of the M4 KYWI line of pouches, ESSTAC is proud to introduce their new Pistol KYWI pouch line up for the discerning shooter.
Constructed of a double layer 1000D Cordura body and backing, the Pistol KYWI pouch is made to survive abrasion while the minimalist design keeps the weight to a minimum. Measuring 3.5" tall, the Pistol KYWI pouch allows for full depth adjustment so you can have most or almost none of your Double Stack pistol magazine sticking out beyond the top edge of the pouch.
Made to fit most common 9/40 double stack pistol magazines, the Pistol KYWI pouch will hold up to a Glock 21 magazine, but will NOT retain a single stack 1911 mag.
The Pistol KYWI pouch makes a great addition for Molle padded belts, and attaches via 2 Short Malice Clips (not included). These pouches retain your mags with authority yet release them lightning fast when grabbed. Made by the magical nylon and kydex fairies of Camano Island, WA, USA.

Great pistol mag pouch
I was looking for a universal rifle and pistol mag pouch combo, so I mounted this on an HSGI Rifle TACO. I wanted to use this setup for different rifles and pistols on the same rig. I also didn't want to bury the mag in the pouch that I'd have to dig for it. I wanted more of the mag exposed, but great retention. This fits the bill. It wasn't any wider than the rifle TACO.

Good, but not ideal for M9 mags on belt
Lost an M9 mag while using this pouch on an HSGI sure-grip belt. The retention was better than Emdom IAP pistol mag pouches, but I've decided to go with a pouch that has a flap for use on a war belt. I suspect I lost the mag while donning or doffing my rucksack. The baseplate would catch on straps every now and then. I'm going to try the magnetic Tactical Tailor pouches for use on a belt. I'm sure these KYWIs would be just fine on the front of a plate carrier or when using a belt that isn't subject to getting caught on straps or whatever else one can bump into.

Nice and tight. I'm able to adjust the amount of tension on the mags by how far I insert the mags into the pouch. Highly recommended!

Great product, retains mags very well xd mags fit snug wont fall out for any reason glock mags fit tighter the fit and finish is better than expected the construction is excellent. I will definitely purchase a second for my rig.

Just about perfect
These pouches hold my Glock 21 magazines well. A little stiff to insert, but removal is smooth. Retention is great, and they ride close to the vest/belt. I use these on a police tactical vest, and I will likely purchase more in the future.

Got this for my belt- holds Glock mags very well, Beretta mags are slightly looser in this pouch.

Love the Esstac line. Use the mag pouch for my G17 mags and the hold very well and leave a lot of room to grab the mag.
