Esstac Pistol KYWI Double Mag Pouch
Based on the runaway success of the M4 KYWI line of pouches, ESSTAC is proud to introduce their new Pistol KYWI pouch line up for the discerning shooter.
Constructed of a double layer 1000D Cordura body and backing, the Pistol KYWI pouch is made to survive abrasion while the minimalist design keeps the weight to a minimum. Measuring 3.5" tall, the Pistol KYWI pouch allows for full depth adjustment so you can have most or almost none of your Double Stack pistol magazine sticking out beyond the top edge of the pouch.
Made to fit most common 9/40 double stack pistol magazines, the Pistol KYWI pouch will hold up to a Glock 21 magazine, but will NOT retain a single stack 1911 mag.
The Pistol KYWI pouch makes a great addition for Molle padded belts, and attaches via 2 Short Malice Clips (not included). These pouches retain your mags with authority yet release them lightning fast when grabbed. Made by the magical nylon and kydex fairies of Camano Island, WA, USA.

great for glock 17 mags
awesome mag pouch for my 17 mags. I only run open top mag pouches and most of the pouches on the market leave you with little real estate for speed/tac reloads. These too leave a great deal of mag to grab onto and they are held in with the kydex very well. These are must haves, in my opinion, for you your kit.

Great for double stack mags
Holds them secure but allows quick release when needed. Much better than simple cloth pouches.

sturdy low profile carriers
Works great with full size and mid size frame Glock mags. Have to be adjusted (liners brought up) for compact mags.

Superior pouch for speedy reloads
I prefer flaps off for speed reloads, and this pouch is excellent for that. Mags come out quickly, but the KYWI inserts provide good mag retention, even without no flap or cover. The magazines will stay in the pouch even held upside down and shaken. I low crawled 25 meters with the pouch on, to see if the gear would stay put, and my mags were still right there when I reached my firing position. Overall, I think this pouch gives a great balance of retention and accessability.

Well designed
Just like the original KYWI M4 pouches, the pistol pouches are great. However, the pouches are about a half inch too short for Glock magazines in their default setting. Adjusting the plastic insert fixes that, but creates a half inch of fabric around the pouch opening. Inserting mags is a bit difficult under stress.

Great Buy!
You cannot beat these pouches! The retention is perfect. It hold them in place and they will not fall out, even of you're running, jumping, hanging upside down or anything else. But as soon as you pull on the magazine, it slides right out. Overall an amazing product! Will be buying more for AR mags and maybe some more pistol, after I buy more.
