Esstac Pistol KYWI Double Mag Pouch
Based on the runaway success of the M4 KYWI line of pouches, ESSTAC is proud to introduce their new Pistol KYWI pouch line up for the discerning shooter.
Constructed of a double layer 1000D Cordura body and backing, the Pistol KYWI pouch is made to survive abrasion while the minimalist design keeps the weight to a minimum. Measuring 3.5" tall, the Pistol KYWI pouch allows for full depth adjustment so you can have most or almost none of your Double Stack pistol magazine sticking out beyond the top edge of the pouch.
Made to fit most common 9/40 double stack pistol magazines, the Pistol KYWI pouch will hold up to a Glock 21 magazine, but will NOT retain a single stack 1911 mag.
The Pistol KYWI pouch makes a great addition for Molle padded belts, and attaches via 2 Short Malice Clips (not included). These pouches retain your mags with authority yet release them lightning fast when grabbed. Made by the magical nylon and kydex fairies of Camano Island, WA, USA.

Too close together...
I had to return this and go with singles...the mags were too close together, the rear mags base plates was catching on the front one. Other than that KYWI FTW!!!

Liked it so much I bought another...
I've been running one of these for well over a year and it works great. So I decided to expand my loadout and buy another one. The retention is firm, but inserting and drawing the mag is still easy. To be honest, if you run your gear hard and often, you'll notice the kydex retention insert starts to creep out of place, but it's an easy fix and everything else about these mag pouches TOTALLY makes it worth having to adjust the insert once or twice a year.

Great product
These are awesome. I bought two and they exceeded my expectations. The inner kydex holds glock 19 mags perfectly. No worries of them coming out. My only complaint and it's more of an issue then anything was its not easy getting the malice clips in...the proper way. But it's do able

Kywi's for life
This is the 3gen of mag pouches that have graced my pig plate carrier. The first were a cheap set of condor pouches, they worked, but not very well. I love HSGI taco pouches, but they are messy! And don't hold with the force that the kywi's do. Plus I hate replacing the shot cord when it breaks, and believe me if you run, jump, climb fences, and train hard. They won't hold up. At least for me the shot cord didn't last more the 3-5 outings

Awesome pouches, holds sig 229 mags easily and securely, but they still come out quickly, would buy again for sure. A little expensive but good

Simple and effective. Holds mags firmly and open top design gives you the fastest draw you will get.
