Esstac Pistol KYWI Double Mag Pouch
Based on the runaway success of the M4 KYWI line of pouches, ESSTAC is proud to introduce their new Pistol KYWI pouch line up for the discerning shooter.
Constructed of a double layer 1000D Cordura body and backing, the Pistol KYWI pouch is made to survive abrasion while the minimalist design keeps the weight to a minimum. Measuring 3.5" tall, the Pistol KYWI pouch allows for full depth adjustment so you can have most or almost none of your Double Stack pistol magazine sticking out beyond the top edge of the pouch.
Made to fit most common 9/40 double stack pistol magazines, the Pistol KYWI pouch will hold up to a Glock 21 magazine, but will NOT retain a single stack 1911 mag.
The Pistol KYWI pouch makes a great addition for Molle padded belts, and attaches via 2 Short Malice Clips (not included). These pouches retain your mags with authority yet release them lightning fast when grabbed. Made by the magical nylon and kydex fairies of Camano Island, WA, USA.

Mag pouches
The pouches as all the gear I have purchased through SKD is up to the standard I have grown to enjoy. These pouches are light weight, low profile and have outstanding retention.

Works great
Using it with XDM40 magazines. They're held securely, though not enough to continuously shake them upside down. No problems running or jumping with them attached though. Allows for an easy draw and looks great.

Another Excellent Product
I own a few ESSTAC KYWI products... M4 pouches, 1911 mag pouches and now the double stack mag pouches... I've used these products at the range during static drills and also during dynamic drills which include a lot of up/down, running, moving/shifting, etc. They've lived thru a lot so far and have taken a beating but one thing that's most important is that they have never failed! The Kydex in the KYWI's hold the mags firmly yet still allow the user to remove them when needed with ease. A+ product!

Mag holder
I purchased this product to mount on my exterior vest. Product is awesome mags hold in nicely and come out really quick. Only thing I didn't like was the clips they had for attaching to molle. Ended up using other clips. But the mag pouch itself is great.

Bad printjob for a quality product
This mag pouch is nicely constructed, holds mags firmly and releases them crisply. Construction seems like its very high quality. Problem is the Kryptek Typhon print job is simply awful! It's extremely low quality and weakly done. It looks like someone smeared some gray paint by accident on a black mag pouch. It's essentially unidentifiable as a Kryptek pattern. Initially I was going to return it, but the pouch functions so well, I'll just keep it.

Best pistol mag pouch available
I ordered this magazine pouch in black for use on an external body armor carrier. To put it bluntly, Esstac produces the best pistol magazine pouch available. The magazines are retained firmly and will not dislodge if you're involved in vigorous activity, yet your magazines are available quickly and easily when you need them. Stitching and materials used is excellent. Mine have been used extensively and show no seat belt wear or even wear to the kydex clips. The kydex clips are well thought out and have a drain hole in the bottom. Be sure to select the MALICE clip option when ordering.

Great value
Only complaint is that I see some loose thread inside the pouch where the lip of my mag rubs. Dosent seem to be a issue as of yet. Overall very good value and very good, I mean outstanding mag retention. Would buy again.
