There is hook velcro sewn on the back of the shotgun cards. Made for 12gauge shotgun shells only. The "Add Sticky Back Loop Velcro for $1.50" option is a strip of industrial strength loop velcro with industrial strength adhesive. Choose this option if you would like to attach the shotgun card to your shotguns receiver. Please let the velcro adhere for 24 hours to let the adhesive take a set.

Esstac Shotgun card - Simple and fast. My jedi master showed me the true benefit of this simple shotgun reload. Slap some loop on your shotgun's left side. Load a few shotgun cards, and place one on the gun. You can fit the spares (back to back if it's a bigger pouch) in a single mag pouch. 7 rounds of 12 gauge ammunition can be carried on the Esstac Shotgun Card, which is backed with hook. Put two of these back to back, and you have a 14-round bundle that fills up a double M4 magazine pouch. Line the side of your receiver with loop, and you have an ammo "side-saddle" system that you can replace in an instant- perfect for Law Enforcement use, whether it is for breaching or less-lethal rounds. Note from Stu @ Esstac about the elastic loop longevity:
"Shotty cards, treat them like a magazine. They will wear more quickly with use rather then just sitting loaded, they will lose some tension over time but that is normal for elastic, I have a couple ammo cans full of loaded shotgun cards and they are still GTG several years later."

Much better than screw type carriers
Very tough velcro allows you to keep original pins in your shotgun. Velcro allows easy strip replacement from extras on your chest rig. Much more versatile than bolt on units. No screws to vibrate loose. Very well made. I highly recommend these shotgun cards.

Nothing that comes close.
After watching the art of the dynamic shotgun I noticed that every shooter had a side saddle set up on their shotgun so I started my research. I really didn't want to put a permanent fixated saddle on my gun. The idea of the velcro is to use it like a magazine. Dispose of it when you are done with it. It fits my 870 perfectly. It is the exact size of the receiver. I can imagine if you have any normal shotgun it will fit perfect. All you need to use to install this is a 2" piece of velcro across the receiver. Definitely would buy more.

Excellent alternative to side saddle
These work extremely well with a Remington 1100. I bought three initially to try them out out and have now bought another five. Much easier, lighter and less cumbersome than a side saddle. I use them from pockets but believe they would work well from LBE. Be aware you will have to get some heavy duty, self adhesive hook and loop to affix to the non ejection port side of your gun. Also, for the third time, fast efficient service and delivery from SKD.

Excellent Quality Shotgun Card
The 7-shell card is a great option for my Mossberg 590. I considered the 5-shell card, which would have worked fine, as well. Ultimately, just because my personal preference is something between the 5 and 7 card length, I just cut the 7-shell card down to a 6-shell card. The Velcro holds very well. The shell elastic bands are tight and very secure. The pull-loop works great for quickly removing. I'm very satisfied with the quality, appearance, and function of these SKD cards.

As Expected, Good 7rd Card
I've stuck this on a mount for the old school type and it works well. The backup can be attached quickly from a plate carrier or similar if needed. Love the pull loop.
