Keeping essential features in the forefront of the design and removing items that will not be required for limited duration use, the First On keeps weight and bulk to an absolute minimum while utilizing FirstSpear's patent pending Tubes closure system to make for a speedy on and off. Magazine pouches integrated for standard 30 round 5.56 Patrol Carbine and shoulder attachments are in place for most common radio hand mikes. Colors: Black, Ranger Green.

Fine for what it is
I think I've been spoiled by modularity and the ability to easily customize whatever gear I'm using. I can't complain too much because I knew what this was when I ordered it - a no frills basic carrier for hard armor and a few AR mags. If you are looking for something that will spend most of its time in your trunk but go on quickly when needed this may fit the bill perfectly. I love the easy on/off clip attachments. I don't like the radio pouch as my radio will be on my belt. Currently I keep a tourniquet in there but there's a lot of wasted space. I also wish the Velcro area was larger since my department dictates the size of required identification patches but that's specific to my situation. It would be nice if they added some molle attachment points. I added HSGI shoulder pads for more comfort. Again, for what this is: a very basic set up that's easy to put on and take off it works well. Would make a great back up system or basic rig that is very rarely used.

first on plate carrier
just as advertised, works perfectly! amazing fit and well built. have worn this carrier on the job for the last year with no hiccups in function or performance. only thing i would change is to have a few rows of molle on the front and back panel, Highly recommend this product!!

Not impressed.
Received the carrier and opened it up and my first thought before even taking it out of the package was "Wrong color." The First-On is not a true Ranger Green. It is much more OD. Beside the color I expected some of the stretch material and there was none. It honestly felt like a nice condor carrier. I did not get a chance to even test it out because I sent it back due to the awful coloring. I'm sure the quality is there but the color sure isn't.
