    First Spear First On

Awesome product! This is a very low profile plate carrier with a specific use in mind. Designed for the street cop already wearing a duty belt and soft armor, the plate carrier is easily thrown over top. This plate carrier works very well with all the everyday crap an officer has to have on however is still very comfortable standalone. The First Spear tube system is very easy to use and you are able to still have the cummerbund longer than needed so you can sinch it down in a hurry. This plate carrier does not have any MOLLE attachments so be very mindful o f that. If you want to look like GI Joe then this is not for you. If you are a serious professional and just need to hold the absolute bare minimum then this is perfect. A concern for me was not believing I had a spot to hold my body camera. With a little ingenuity, I was able to set the body camera on top of my medical items in the med pouch and then use the zippers on both sides to sinch it down. For the price you cannot beat it. Highly recommend. If you are on the fence then stop sitting up there afraid to fall and jump!

I wanted a good low profile carrier to wear when driving or in civilian clothing, and this fit that function perfectly.

    Freaking awesome!

This thing is perfect, so comfortable, I have some really light weight plates to go with it so it feels light as a feather. The built in pouches are much nicer than I expected so worth the money comes with everything you need and nothing you don’t.

    Exactly what I need

As a LEO I was looking for a system that was quick to put on, low profile, and lightweight. This fits the bill perfectly. Since my duty belt has most of my equipment (pistol mags, radio, handcuffs, etc.) I didnÕt need a MOLLE plate carrier to carrier tons of pouches. Just something that would allow me to throw on hard plates, a couple rifle mags, and some medical. This is now part of my tiered system in my cruiser depending on the situation. This is kept with my ballistic helmet. Then, if needed, I have a small go bag with more medical, some ammo, snacks, chem lights, etc. and a drop pouch that has a gas mask. I put some plates in it that when worn with my issued soft armor offers me level IV protection. This carrier should be a standard issued item for all in patrol.

    Great for LEO

Posted by Zachary on 11th Apr 2017

These days the special snowflakes get triggered at the sight of anyone with weapons and a kit... even a Law Enforcement Officer ("oh em gee that occifer is too tacticool" or "why does that pig need a long gun and body armor?" or "I hope killary de-militarizes all LEOs!!) This plate carrier is a perfect balance that everyone can be happy. I get to bring some extra rounds to a gunfight, carry an IFAK, and some hard plates all while keeping a lower profile then say someone in camo, molle, and 7 scary "high capacity clips". Only gripe is the shoulder straps will eat your neck. I bought padded shoulder straps from Velocity Systems and they fit perfectly.
