Installed easily on my RBAV-SF without having to take it apart, which was nice. I also really love the way it keeps the standard RBAV shoulder pads from folding inward and bunching up, makes donning it a touch easier. The non-slip backing is a nice touch as well. Overall, I am very pleased.

Last deployment, I had a Eagle Scalable Plate Carrier. I used the shoulder pads that came with it. They sucked because everytime I had to put my flak on, the pads would roll and the velcro would be in between my cammies and flak, creating a hot spot. So, prior to this deployment, I ordered these pads in hopes of alleviating the problem. It worked. The times I've worn my flak. These pads didn't roll and are more comfortable than the issue ones. And it also got a few looks from my higher ups who also liked the pads. Overall, I like this product for comfort and lack of hassle.

These shoulder pads are a nice way to increase the comfort of an Eagle plate carrier. They mount easily and dont require the plate carrier to be broken down so these pads can be slipped on. The Velcro on the 2 straps makes taking them on and off a simple task. If I were to change anything about them I might make them more contoured on one side to fit around the neck of individuals with gigantic, muscular traps such as myself, or possibly a half inch thinner. I ordered these in Smoke Green because HSGI does not offer Ranger Green, but even still the color match is more than acceptable. I've used these for about 3 months no and they're holding up great and show no signs of wear.

These shoulder pads are extremely comfortable. The only draw back when using these with the weesatch, is that the rig naturally sags a little low, and if you want to have it sit high to cover your chest, then you can't really use these shoulder pads. They prevent the shortening of the straps to adjust the elevation that the plates sit at. However, this really isn't a shoulder pad issue, but more of a weesatch issue.

Absolutely "must have" piece of equipment, works also good with eagle platecarrier.

I bought these for my eagle plate carrier because the shoulder straps on the carrier dig into my shoulders. these pads are amazing and worth every penny!!!
