HSGI Shoulder Pads

For enhanced comfort while wearing plate carriers and chest rigs. Adaptable Shoulder Strap Pads for the Wasatch or Weesatch. Will also adapt to any 2" webbed straps.

These shoulder pads will add a thin soft gel-like padding to help manage the load.

    Really, really like these pads. Two velcro straps (one fore and one aft) on each pad make them easy to install on your plate carrier (mine are on an Eagle plate carrier w/cummerbund - note that this PC is similar to, but different than the Eagle SPC issued by the USMC). Once in place, these pads really help to spread the weight of the armor out. Nice, cross hatched rubber surface where the pad makes contact with your shoulders prevents them from slipping and sliding around on your shoulders (a big complaint with the Eagle shoulder pads that come with the Marine SPC). This is my first ever HSGI product and I am quite impressed - will look to get more gear from them in the future.

    used these with an any issued plate carrier in the past. They worked extremely well. These have reinforced Velcro straps.

    Some carriers don't have adequate padding on the shoulders to distribute the combined weight of plates, full mags and whatever other gear one has deemed necessary to attach to it. These pads, while designed to work with the HSGI carriers and chest rigs, works flawlessly with my Blackhawk rig to more evenly distribute the weight on my shoulders and eliminate the valley the straps usually left after a day in the field.
