Amazing support/padding
I am running an HSGI chest rig over a Mayflower LPAC with a HSGI hydration pack webbed to the back of the plate carrier so that it can strap up the chest rig in the front from over the shoulders and two straps around the waist. It holds the Mayflower shoulder strap and the hydration to chest rig strap together, instead of getting torn up by two different straps over my shoulders. It has made the kit much more comfortable and easier to balance.

Great Pads
Bought these pads to make my Eagle Plate Carrier more comfortable. They fit great, they even out the weight, the non slip material keeps you rig from shifting and rubbing your shoulder. The hook and loop straps even allow for enough space to route your hydration tube or radio wire. Worth ever bit of 20 bucks.

Definitely worth the money
Bought these after seeing two other guys with them. Figured they'd definitely help out on the shoulders considering the stuff we gotta carry. I was impressed with not only how well they work/feel, but with the quality as well. Hook and look fasteners haven't came undone or torn and the gel padding feels great.

Don't hesitate- just do it.
I hum-hawed over these for six months, and finally broke down and ordered them. The increase in comfort is substantial. My Banshee plate carrier with despalled AR500 plates, plus IFAK and magazines, is a heavy burden... these pads make it feel much lighter than it is. Even after a few hours my shoulders still feel light and fresh. These are a must-have item if you are actually going to put plates in your Banshee. They don't seem that thick when you first look at them, but they are perfect. not to thick, not too thin. Honestly, they're ideal in every possible way.

HSGI Shoulder Pads... best shoulder pads period!
At $20.00 these are a steal! Have them on my Blue Force Gear LMAC and they work great in helping distributr the load and are very comfortable! I will definitely purchase these again for other loadbeaing items, I'd bet they would work great on a chest rig or an EDC bag. Buy them you won't be disappointed!
