HSGI Improved Bleeder/Blowout Pouch Modular
The HSGI Improved Bleeder/Blowout Pouch is designed to hold medical gear along with immediate access to medical shears. Medical shears are held securely by strap and snap. There is also a 2" wide QUICK-PULL strap along the inside of the pocket to aid in one handed removal of contents of the pouch.

Flight Medic Perspective
This pouch is by far one of the best quick access, bleeder pouch I have used. In the aircraft, we always have our trauma panels close by, but when we are out and have a matter of minutes to assess, treat, and load a patient, access to your equipment is paramount. This pouch puts everything I need to stop a life threatening hemorrhage close at hand. The pouch is of great quality and secures my shears better than just the MOLLE webbing or in my trouser sheath. I was able to fit two packs of Combat Gauze, two packs of compressed gauze, and an Israeli Trauma Bandage in it, with a CAT secured on the outside. More than enough to stop that gross bleed in a hurry. Big thanks to SKD for getting here double time.

Great product.
I have bought and liked the taco pouches from HSGI so I went with their bleeder/ blowout pouch. As always with HSGI gear I am not dissapointed. The pouch is made well and is perfect for its purpose, I am pleased with it.

Great little IFAK
Great little IFAK, not too big, just fits my waterproof insert. Perfect size for hiking, my hunting pack, or taking to work. Red "elevator strap is a nice touch to help get to the contents in a hurry. Well worth the money, and SKD got it to me WICKED FAST! Thanks, guys!

Too bad the manufacturer web site can't display realistic shipping fees. In using SKDTTAC ,a distributor for HSGI, I saved some seven or eight dollars shipping. Make any sense???

Love this med. kit
I own 3 of these. I run one on both of my vests and one on my go bag. I found that I can pack a very good trauma kit into it.... if you have the patients and organization skills. Mine contains: celox syringe, 4in oleas,4x4 petroleum guaze, micro cpr shield, NPA w/ lube, tension pneumothorax needle, a small roll of duct tape on 550 tied to a molle strap, and a tourniquet shock corded to the exterior. its a nice piece of kit!!!

Good pouch. Small, but clever.
This isnt a full size IFAK, so if your looking for carrying large amount of gauze, tournequets, or bandages, id maybe suggest something else. This being said, if you just need the basic medical essentials, this kit is perfect. Has slots on the side for chems or tourneys, and the inside has enough space for gauze or other bandages. Even has a red pull tab of sorts to quickly remove the contents of the pouch instead of having to dig through it to get to whatever is needed. Love it, nuff said.

I really like this pouch. It holds everything I need it to but I wish it were just a hair bigger, a little snug.
