    Awesome product, very practical

Posted by BRAD PIERSON on 15th Mar 2012

This is a real solution to having a simple IFAK on either a war belt or chest rig/plate carrier. Right now, it's sitting on my Eagle plate carrier at the 9:30 position. I easily fit a small bag of celox and a 4" izzy inside with shears in the back and a TQ on the side. I'm considering a second TQ for the other side. The MC pattern matches my Eagle PC's multicam. The 2" pull strap that's inside the pouch is actually bright red, not tan or coyote as pictured in the pictures here. It's no issue at all, just putting that out there for buyers who may be picky. It is a really neat feature though.

    Exactly what you see

This pouch is small but efficient, you can fit everything you need to treat a bleeder. I packed mine with a 4" Israeli bandage, quicklot combat gauze and attached my SOFFT on the outside as well as put my sheers in the holder. You can't fit anything more than that, but if you've got your 18D/68W what else do you really need to carry on you.

    Perfect Small Kit

I mounted this on my Eagle chest rig and it fits perfectly. Great for it's intended purpose. Holds Chest Seal, Nasopharyngeal Airway, Combat Gauze and Trauma Dressing in main pocket. Shears in rear pocket and Tourniquet banded to the side. I couldn't ask for a better designed pouch.

    Good Buy

Posted by J. Gordon on 20th Jan 2012

All in all, a good product. Though I understood the difference in color when I purchased it, HSGI's "Smoke Green" doesn't clash horribly with RG, but it is noticeable. Just not sure as to why a company would run an obscure color as this one. You might as well run OD with the color they have. Other than that, pouch is well made, and it's big enough for sheers, Israeli PD, gauss, and tourniquet on the outer portion.

    Awesome gear

This is just the right size for a true blowout kit. Most people want to make their IFAK their blowout kit. By having the smaller size pouch, you can get a quic clot and ace/kling gauze inside the pouch. May be able to get another small gauze in there if I stuff it. Tourniquet attaches to outside and a glow stick will attach to other side. Shears have a dedicated slot for easy access. Leave your IFAK for all your boo-boo supplies and have a true, dedicated blowout kit. It will make it much easier to get the important stuff when you need it. I saw this kit on www.jerkingthetrigger.com

Perfect to suplement a larger Aid-Kit. Fits an IZZY and combat gauze nicely. Secure a tourniquet to the side, and you are good-to-go.

    HSGI Bleeder pouch

Posted by Bruce Camp on 31st Dec 2011

I've been using and recommending these pouches for years. The latest one I bought is the best yet as it has an internal webbing that can be pulled to help with accessing the contentents of the pouch. This pouch will hold an Israeli bandage, tourniquet, gloves, chem light and marker with ease. Its the perfect size for a small blow-out kit that will fit on just 2 rows of webbing.

    HSGI Bleeder

Posted by James Terwilliger on 15th Dec 2011

It carries basic trauma supplies that are needed to treat most injuries you would see overseas. The internal strap aids in removing the contents with a simple yank. The sides that hold the Tq's could be inproved by usung elastic rather that webbing, because as it is now you have to use rubber bands that will dry and break. Overall Great gear HSGI...
