HSGI Improved Bleeder/Blowout Pouch Modular

The HSGI Improved Bleeder/Blowout Pouch is designed to hold medical gear along with immediate access to medical shears. Medical shears are held securely by strap and snap. There is also a 2" wide QUICK-PULL strap along the inside of the pocket to aid in one handed removal of contents of the pouch.

    Right size.

    Been looking as this for a blowout kit. Packed in an OLEAS bandage, QuikClot and gloves, with a tourniquet on the outside. Combat shears fit snug and secure. Great little package, hopefully I won't have to use it, but glad it's there.

    Great for a battle belt. It carries shears, an Israeli bandage, quick clot and a tourniquet on mine. Superb quality and build. It's what you'd expect from HSGI.

    IFAK replacment

    Had a standard issue IFAK from USMC supply, too big and bulky so i opted for the HSGI blowout pouch. Fits the main essential components for stabilizing a casualty, plus the scissor pouch is a great innovation along with the "quick release cable" that allows you to empty the entire contents of the pouch in one quick pull. I carry it on the back left of my plate carrier and still have plenty of room for real estate. SKD does it right!

    Good Med Pouch

    Prior to this, all my med pouches are the Condor med kits and while they work, they're rather wide for mounting on gear. I might not get everything into this kit, but I'll certainly have everything important but taking up no more real-estate than a mag pouch would occupy. You can never have too many med supplies on you, and having them in multiple locations will offset issues should you injury either your primary or your support arm.

    Pouch is well build, fits a tac tailor mini mav with a triple mag shingle perfectly, shipping was fast as hell, fits combat guaze, npa, chest dart, and a 6in izzy, touriquet banded to the outside no extra shit. Overall awesome experience and great product.
