    Great Clips

Posted by Kevin Hackett on 20th Sep 2010

Love MagPul products. Molded in the actual color, not a paint job. Window and round indicator spot on. Smooth release from my Sig556. Easy to load, snap on round cover a nice addition. Would have received 5 stars, but not compatible with some of MagPul's ranger plates and mag attachments.

    Over rated

Posted by brad simmons on 17th Jul 2010

Fine magazine, just over rated. The window and "improved" follower are great features but I can't justify the extra eight bucks over an old fashion metal magazine. If buying a larger amount of magazines, I would stick to c-products. Makes a nice fashion statement I guess. WILL NOT WORK WITH 6.8 SPC or 6.5 Grendal. Not a critique since they are clearly marked 5.56. Just a heads up.

These are THE space age mag.

Posted by Andrew Pitman on 16th Feb 2010

Not only do these have a futuristic look to them, but they also have a lot of really useful features. They're rugged (nearly unbreakable), the non-tilt followers mean flawless feeding, they're completely compatible with the AR platform and all pouches and accessories, plus you can see how many rounds are left with the "MagLevel" window. Another nice touch is that the dust covers snap onto the floorplate so they won't get lost, and having them on the bottom adds a little extra gripping surface when you pull them out of a pouch. SKD has these at a reasonable price and their fast, flat rate shipping can't be beat!

    Great mags

These mags are a step above the Lancer mags and ten steps above U.S. issued mags.

    Can't go wrong with Magpul

Posted by michael k on 26th Jan 2010

Out of all the accessories I've purchased, by far Magpul exceeds my expectation. The quality is excellent and the service from SKD is excellent. You can't ask for more ...except for more Magpul free giveaway. ***I've purchased a MagLevel PMAG from cheaperthandirt and it's different version than this. SKD PMAG was easy to release and lock-in. The CTD version was totally opposite. I can tell subtle differences in these two and it could be that CTD was an earlier design.***

Excellent Mags, There Is a Difference

    Posted by J E on 26th Jan 2010

I have compared these side by side with teflon coated GI mags. The PMAGs are much better. They load easier, so thumbs hurt less. The spring does appear to be less compressed in the PMAG, to lesson the chance of a weakened spring. I would like a version of the PMAG that has a full length window. The current revision of the PMAG, as of early 2010, does have a slightly nicer window and "round count mark." These are heavy duty, and easier on the fingers as compared to GI mags.

    Best Magazines Money Can Buy

Posted by T. Glieger on 24th Jan 2010

As said in the title, in my opinion, these mags are the best that money can buy. The durability of these things are amazing, aside from it being a LOT lighter weight. The polymer construction is very durable, and I have not had any feeding problems caused by the mag. One huge advantage to these over the standard GI (green) followers is that the magpul followers don't tilt. It makes loading the last few rounds a little harder, yes, but that compensates for the fact that the spring will rarely ever get caught. It's a given but I'd like to add the window is yet another great feature, especially if you're not cracking off all 30 rnds in one situation. A quick glimpse of the mag gives you your approximate round count. Great feature. Buy these, as you will not regret it.
