PMAG® Ranger Plate™ – AR/M4 GEN M2 MOE®, 3 Pack
Believe it or not, SKD was present at the genesis of the Magpul Ranger Plate. During the first year the Magpul 556 was introduced, SKD personnel ran Magpuls at a 90 degree angle to the originally conceived installation method, which was highlighted in subsequent Magpul 556 instruction books. In later conversations, Magpul founder Rich Fitzpatrick shared with us that the "SKD method" of running the Magpul 556 was the inspiration behind the creation of the original PMAG ® Ranger Plate!
We are proud to be part of the unique and rich history of this great American company, and are proud to continue to represent Magpul and carry the Magpul Ranger Plate!
The Magpul PMAG Ranger Plate is a floorplate replacement for the 5.56x45 PMAG 30 AR/M4 GEN M2 MOE, PMAG 30G, and EMAG that incorporates an integral loop similar to the original Magpul USGI Ranger. When installed on the base of the magazine, the PMAG Ranger Plate provides unsurpassed speed and control during high stress, tactical magazine changes.
Made in the USA.

Typical MAGPUL!!!
Easy to install. Colour matched my FDE PMags to a tee. I carry PMags in shock-cord secured shingles on my IOTV. Easier to extract from a pouch than ranger-plate equiped M4 30 rounders. These are a "must have" for my PMags.

Great plate
Extremely easy installation, helps with retention, also helps add weight to standard PMags that might not drop free from STANAG non-AR mag wells.

Pefect grip
These are a must-have for any pouch-carried PMags. They provide a great gripping point on a great magazine. The only drawback is that with the ranger plates installed PMags will not fit in some pouches.

Good kit
Fits Pmags from the earliest models to current. Fits on 20s and 30s without problems. Much easier replacement than the GI mag pulls. Rubber material makes a decent rest for monopoding and I don't worry about screwing up the mag if I drop it on the run. ( Not that that is a big problem on PMags anyway. ) My only complaint is that the rubber material grabs the insides of pockets. While they are easier to grasp, they don't slide as well. This is mostly a problem with 20's in pouches made for 30s and is a minor inconvenience at the most.

Nice touch and easy to install.
The Ranger Plates make it easier to grab mags out of pouches vests, and they also look cool. They are so easy to install, a monkey could do it - takes less than 10 seconds per plate.
