Designed for the more compact Hydrapak First Wave 2L Military Reservoirs and Source WXP 2L Hydration Bladders, the PIG Hydration Carrier (2L) offers innovations that will increase performance while minimizing bulk and weight. The wide-profile mouth offers easy access to your hydration bladder for refilling and maintenance. A 4" elastic band adds compression to the bottom of the bladder which serves to counteract the "fat belly" effect as the bladder empties. The bottom of the back panel is made of mesh, to aid in drainage and evaporation of condensation. Hydration ports are in the top corners, allowing directional routing to either shoulder.

Weighing in at only 5 ounces, the PIG Hydration Carrier doesn't make carrying water any harder than it should be. 8.4 grams of sex-appeal have been manufactured into each carrier, making this one of the best looking pieces of kit you will attach to your host molle platform.

As part of the new [SYSTEMA] family of product, this Hydration Carrier not only works with the PIG MK-1 Shoulder Straps, but integrates directly with the PIG BRIG CR (Chest Rig) via the PIG Brig CR-LB (Load Bearing) Harness. Direct Molle interface is achieved via 2 Long and 2 Short Malice Clips, which are included.

    These fit perfectly on the back of a S/M Mayflower APC. Comes with two pairs of MALICE clips, long and short. The long is the normal MALICE style, the short is a more flexible version I hadn't seen before but is much easier to weave. The pack itself is well made and I like the elastic retention built into the bottom half to keep a half empty hydration bag from puffing out.

    The PIG carrier mates perfectly to a PIG PC back panel. It neatly fits a source WXP bladder. The elastic band and mesh bottom are really nice additions you can't get elsewhere. I only wish it came with the newer HSGI clips instead of malice clips that can be a little stubborn to get on and off..

    Obviously there's a group of guys that know what people need and have taken the steps to make sure that both design and quality is on point. You can really tell it's a quality pack if you need it for combat reasons or for simply a high quality hydro pack for hiking this is the perfect setup.
