Designed for the more compact Hydrapak First Wave 2L Military Reservoirs and Source WXP 2L Hydration Bladders, the PIG Hydration Carrier (2L) offers innovations that will increase performance while minimizing bulk and weight. The wide-profile mouth offers easy access to your hydration bladder for refilling and maintenance. A 4" elastic band adds compression to the bottom of the bladder which serves to counteract the "fat belly" effect as the bladder empties. The bottom of the back panel is made of mesh, to aid in drainage and evaporation of condensation. Hydration ports are in the top corners, allowing directional routing to either shoulder.

Weighing in at only 5 ounces, the PIG Hydration Carrier doesn't make carrying water any harder than it should be. 8.4 grams of sex-appeal have been manufactured into each carrier, making this one of the best looking pieces of kit you will attach to your host molle platform.

As part of the new [SYSTEMA] family of product, this Hydration Carrier not only works with the PIG MK-1 Shoulder Straps, but integrates directly with the PIG BRIG CR (Chest Rig) via the PIG Brig CR-LB (Load Bearing) Harness. Direct Molle interface is achieved via 2 Long and 2 Short Malice Clips, which are included.

    PIG nailed it. As a staff officer who does battlefield circulations, this is a happy medium between the large 3L and joey pouches. I just wish SKD sold it with a bladder from Tactical Tailor or Camelbak. Vented bottom allows for leaks to quickly flush out and not cause mold. Smart.

    PERFECTLY-sized for my plate carrier!

    Bought this for my Plate Carrier, and I must say that I'm impressed with how well it fits on it. No excess nylon hanging below the plate and the elastic keeps the bladder close to the body. I also like the hydro tube routing holes on the top, left, and right. A+ for design, and execution. Only thing I didn't need/like is the loop velcro on the back. Could have actually done without it, but that doesn't matter much.

    Great System, Lousy Attatchment

    This is a good system and a good idea that is executed fairly well. Alas the MALICE clips it came with for attachment were a pain in the ass and I eventually salvaged a pair of Blackhawk Speedclips from another hydration system to attach the system to my plate carrier. That solution proved to be less time consuming and provide a better "mesh" with the MOLLE than the MALICE clips.

    the way it attaches to the carrier is easy and its solid and wont make noise and not to combersome thing a lot of hydration packs are.

    Ok, the first pouch I ordered came super fast and I was honestly not expecting it to arrive as soon as it did, but it came with the elastic straps not sewn to the pouch. I emailed SKD, and they replied the same day!!! I shipped the pouch back that following monday, and had a new one that same friday! These guys are awesome, don't question purchasing from here!!! I am very pleased with the pouch I used it for training this past weekend and it worked flawlessly, only thing I think it's missing is a small loop of fabric to hang the hook of your water bladder from, but honestly you really don't need it because the elastic does an awesome job of not letting the bladder bunch up or fall to the bottom. I put it on my banshee p/c and now I want one for my TT RAC!

    The ONLY plate carrier purpose built hydration carrier. The armorbak might seem like it's "doable" but once you try the PIG, there's no going back. Everything about this carrier impressed me. It was sewn together perfectly, it was rugged and very light.

    Fit well, distributed booze effectively

    It mounted well to my PIG PC, and distributed the liquid inside of it in a way that my lower back didnt appear pregnant. I put about 1.5 liters of whiskey in it, and probably a combination of both the proper weight displacement and it being rigged to my PIG PC, made it very comfortable.

    Nice hydration carrier, elastic straps help prevent sagging...sagging is bad. Perfect size for the eagle industries plate carrier in s/m or shellback/tactical assault gear banshee rifle plate carrier. Would probably fit well on any short plate carrier with 7 rows of molle.
