Designed for the more compact Hydrapak First Wave 2L Military Reservoirs and Source WXP 2L Hydration Bladders, the PIG Hydration Carrier (2L) offers innovations that will increase performance while minimizing bulk and weight. The wide-profile mouth offers easy access to your hydration bladder for refilling and maintenance. A 4" elastic band adds compression to the bottom of the bladder which serves to counteract the "fat belly" effect as the bladder empties. The bottom of the back panel is made of mesh, to aid in drainage and evaporation of condensation. Hydration ports are in the top corners, allowing directional routing to either shoulder.

Weighing in at only 5 ounces, the PIG Hydration Carrier doesn't make carrying water any harder than it should be. 8.4 grams of sex-appeal have been manufactured into each carrier, making this one of the best looking pieces of kit you will attach to your host molle platform.

As part of the new [SYSTEMA] family of product, this Hydration Carrier not only works with the PIG MK-1 Shoulder Straps, but integrates directly with the PIG BRIG CR (Chest Rig) via the PIG Brig CR-LB (Load Bearing) Harness. Direct Molle interface is achieved via 2 Long and 2 Short Malice Clips, which are included.

    Best Available for Concealment Cut Armor

    I purchased this to go onto the back of a Mayflower R&C low-profile Assault Carrier, and I made the right choice! Many hydration carriers are floppy and hang too low. This one holds tightly to the armor and does not protrude down at all. It is very thin and allows you to wear it in a vehicle, which you really can't do well with a larger 100oz system. I find that the 2L capacity is just perfect for balancing the vest (w/ 6 rifle mags on the front) when I don't have my plates in. The capacity is more than enough. The quality of this product is fantastic. The stitching is solid and strong, and the construction is top-notch. I have already put this through some abuse, and it still looks new. I had to sew my own velcro onto it for my POLICE velcro patch, but SKD has stated that they will be putting one out soon with the velcro. Kudos to them for evolving the product so soon!

    I've had good experience with SKD products and this is no different. The sewing is top quality and the spacing on the MOLLE is consisted. The bladder elastic is a great idea, keeps the pack from getting the "FatMan" look. Highly recommend this for all your hydration needs.

    Nothing is worse than a 3L, 8lb mass shifting around on your back, pulling your carrier this way and that, sitting too low, or uncomfortably to the side; especially when riding in vehicles. By and large, the hydration carriers that are out there do the job, but a poor one. The first thing I noticed about this piece of kit is that it is tailored to carrying liquid. The base is rapped in a thick elastic, which I can only presume is intended to compress the bladder in a way that both hugs the your rear plate and aids the user. This elastic is woven through to the interior to directly compress against the bladder, and is stitched to both the interior and exterior with triple stitching. geometry of the carrier, following it's pattern nicely. PIG and SKD have once again out done themselves with a superior product, delivered in a superior time frame - two days from ordering online until it was on my porch. Thankyou SKD and looking forward to shopping with you again!!!
