PIG Plate Carrier Elastic Cummerbund - Since I dont want to just pile on the PIG PC band-wagon on the staff pics, I'll focus on the option I like the most- the PIG Plate Carrier Elastic Cummerbund. If I could have designed the PIG Plate Carrier just for myself, it would have been designed around this cummerbund. It keeps your sides slick and low-profile, which is important if you still want to access your pistol from the belt. But more importantly, it is just comfortable and allows for flex and expansion with heavy activity, and reduces the surface area that is covered by material (4" wide versus 6" on the molle version), which aids in venting and cooling. Due to the high-riding profile of the PIG Plate Carrier, the elastic cummerbund is actually a very practical option. If you dont have a mission requirement for a molle cummerbund, I would check out the elastic cummerbund option as your primary setup (and save a few bucks over the molle), or at least add it to your configurations for more versatility. The PIG Plate Carrier Elastic Cummerbund (PIG-PC-CBE) is a versatile 4" wide elastic cummerbund comes in 2 pieces and attaches via velcro to the rear cummerbund channel on the PIG-PC Chassis. This lightweight and low-profile cummerbund was the inspiration for the PIG BRIG Plate Carrier design which uses a similar 4" wide elastic cummerbund. We have scores of customers ordering the PIG-PC-CBE to use on other Plate Carriers from different manufacturers, but we do not offer any guarantees regarding compatibility with different platforms. When configured, the user should affix the cummerbund on the bottom-most 4 inches of the rear cummerbund channel, and correspondingly secure the front of the cummerbund at the bottom-most 4 inches under the front cummerbund flaps. Good
Now i currently do own a set of these already, but they are old and run down. Now the thing i like about the new ones that i just got is the fact that the elastic part on these are coyote brown witch can be a pro or a con. Now the reason is the old ones were a more of a khaki on the elastic part, the thing is the khaki part will match more with multicam than coyote brown, other than that love them and will not stop using them.

Great item!
I heard about this through a few videos on youtube and I wanted to see how well it would work for me, and its honestly one of the best pieces for a plate carrier you can get. Its super easy to adjust, simple to install, and, it is so much easier to breathe with. Not to mention it makes fitting a plate carrier to my size easier. I've used other types of Carriers that don't have removable cummerbunds, or can't quite adjust, but after installing this on my current carrier, having the elastic makes breathing so much better than having a fixed cummerbund. Even a few friends of mine (that are really thin) say that this product makes such a difference for them in fitting a plate carrier. Fantastic product!

Very high quality product. All the materials used and the construction seems to be top-of-the-line. This cummerbund helps the plate carrier to fit flawlessly on the body, and does not cause the plate carrier to crush your chest either. Also, the low-profile design of this cummerbund allows for easy & quick draw of your sidearm, with zero snagging. Also allows easy access of anything else located on the sides of your first line, because it is low-profile and doesn't get in the way of anything. Excellent product. Great for anybody looking to make their plate carrier fit better, looking to knock some weight from their plate carrier, or looking for a high-speed low-drag setup. 10/10

Great low profile cummerbund
I do not use this cummerbund in the PIG plate carrier but rather in the Condor MOPC (yeah, yeah... I know its not an LBT but when your department refuses to buy your SRT gear you become very budget conscious). I run a first line setup and have no real use for the molle real estate that comes with the original cummerbund so I opted for one of these. Rather than taking my vest to have pile Velcro sewn into the rear cummerbund channel I removed the laces from the eyelets on the PIG elastic cummerbund and wove a liberal amount of shock cord in an X fashion to secure the two sides together. I ran it through the rear channel and it works like a charm. The cummerbund gives a more comfortable, yet tighter, feel to the PC and gives me the low profile look I wanted. A+ product.
