PIG Plate Carrier G-Hook Double D-Ring Kit (PIG-PC-GH-DD)

I installed this kit on my PIG plate carrier and I couldn't be more pleased. Much less likely to get in the way of a long gun stock. Construction is top quality as I've come to expect with PIG products. Probably should be standard on the plate carrier or at least offered as an option.

I used these on my banshee plate carrier. The carrier is much more comfirtable to wear for PT and to shoot with. Getting that plastic buckle out of the way makes shouldering weapons much easier.

This is a great addition for SS ergos while keeping the WS QR.

Actually, I ended replacing both of my shoulder snaps with these. When I don the kit, I typically undo the cumberbund and put my head into it rather than unbuckle the shoulder strap.

Very low profile, good choice to replace the buckle on your shooting side.

I ordered these to lessen the footprint where my sling feeds through the PC shoulder straps. I use DBA SIM sling from a little know company called Urban ERT. If you havent heard of em you should check em out--most versatile sling company out there IMO, they are awesome at multi-configuration and multiple usage. Anyway, the bridge on their slings come with and ingenious device called a dynamic breakaway system--a pull release for emegency. For why this is important go to site and watch tac-vid. Most buckles have always clashed with system. However, SKD's solution has been a permanent fix this sling mounted system. You have done it again in thinking out of the box, as always, and come up with yet another solution that is simply brilliant. You guys ROCK!

Drops the profile for a better stock fit in the shoulder. Having an additional hook as a backup is a plus.

Outstanding idea.

I purchased these to swap one on my PIG PC's right shoulder strap to replace the buckle for a lower profile and it does just that. The D-rings are metal as well which is a big plus for me.
