PIG Sternum Strap

Designed to work with PIG Mk-1 Shoulder Straps, the PIG Sternum Strap stabilizes and secures your PIG load when using the shoulder straps for extended distances. Featuring lightweight 3/4" webbing and hardware, the PIG Sternum Strap works in conjunction with the following PIG items when using Mk-1 Shoulder Straps:

  • PIG Hydration 2L
  • PIG Hydration 3L
  • PIG gRUNT
  • PIG gRUNT Large
  • PIG Armor Kit Bag (AKB)
  • PIG RUNT Pack 

Featuring an ITW Sternum Split bar, the PIG Sternum Strap will also work with any other shoulder straps that have open vertical 1" webbing.

    Had to order to replace the cheap feeling Goruck sternum strap on my GR1. This has the whole package, high quality buckle with a positive click and lock in place and a strap keeper along with it! No longer do I have to tuck the loose strap in while I'm running.

    Pig multi cam Sternum strap

    I use the Pig sternum straps on all of my Multicam deployment packs. I use it on my primary patrol pack (T3 reload Hydration pack) and my long range patrol pack (GoRuck GR2 multicam). It is comfortable, durable, and simple to put on and use. I highly recommend this to any professional who finds themselves in need of a sternum strap.

    I bought the Coyote sternum strap, and attached it to the straps of my rucksack. I typically have 20-30lbs of weight in my bag, so the sternum strap was an awesome addition when out and about. It was working great! Then I laid the bag down on the ground, sternum strap and buckle between the bag and the ground: crack. The plastic of the buckle cracked completely under the weight of a 30lb bag.

    Great Strap

    Shipped right away and arrived quickly. This strap is rugged, well made and works great. I wanted to add a sternum strap at my abdomen level for extra support during Spartan races. This strap is long enough and has full adjustment. Was expecting a stretch fabric but am not upset that this is not the case.

    I purchased this to go on a Multicam GR1. I like the elastic webbing taco that keeps the loose end flom flopping around, and the fact there is no external branding of any type on this item. If you are looking for a matching sternum strap for your GR ruck, this one integrates onto that platform seamlessly. I recommend.

    There isn't a lot to say about a sternum strap, but this was the item I was looking for. It's the color I was looking for, it only adjusts from one side of the buckle, and it was available at a reasonable price. So far, I'm very happy with this purchase!
