PIG Sternum Strap

Designed to work with PIG Mk-1 Shoulder Straps, the PIG Sternum Strap stabilizes and secures your PIG load when using the shoulder straps for extended distances. Featuring lightweight 3/4" webbing and hardware, the PIG Sternum Strap works in conjunction with the following PIG items when using Mk-1 Shoulder Straps:

  • PIG Hydration 2L
  • PIG Hydration 3L
  • PIG gRUNT
  • PIG gRUNT Large
  • PIG Armor Kit Bag (AKB)
  • PIG RUNT Pack 

Featuring an ITW Sternum Split bar, the PIG Sternum Strap will also work with any other shoulder straps that have open vertical 1" webbing.

    I wanted a tactical sternum strap for my molle pack, but Blackhawk stopped making theirs and they're hard to find. A youtube search landed me here. The shipping was lightning fast, the strap is top quality and I am beyond satisfied. Will definitely buy from SKD again.

    I have 70+ backpacks that are loaned out to students for hiking trips. The sternum straps from SKD are identical to the originals that were on the LL Bean full size packs. I have been trying to find these for some time and another manufacturer couldn't deliver what they offered. I will be placing another order for these sternum straps immediately and I couldn't be happier with the quality!

    This was easy to attach to an existing harness I had, made all the difference in the world. It keeps my shoulder straps in place, as expected. Well worth the cost.

    Got this strap to use with a camelbak woman's charm hydration pack for my 23 y/o daughter who has used it in spartan races, most recently the beast in Vermont. She loves the strap to keep her pack extra secure. It is a quality made piece of gear. Proud dad of a hardcore athletic daughter!
