Perfect, well made, love it!
This is a great improvement. One of those things where after you get one you wonder how you lived without it.

BCM is the Sh*t
BCM charging handles are simply the best on the market!

A Nice Upgrade
Honestly, I was expecting it to be beefier based on the reviews. Compared to the stock Sig M400 handle it replaced, the Mod5 only weighed in at .01oz more - plus I don't know if I'm a fan of all the writing on it - it just doesn't look professional. BUT... the slightly larger latch is more comfortable to use and I DO feel more peace of mind considering this thing is pretty much proven to be a sturdier upgrade over a mil-spec latch.

The New Standard
There's literally no reason not to buy a BCM Gunfighter Charging Handle, it's that much better than a standard charging handle. The latest iteration has a lip around the area where it rests against the upper receiver which pretty much eliminates any powder blowback while using a suppressor and the latch is the perfect size to aid in manipulations without being obtrusive. There's a good reason why Noveske uses it as standard equipment on their rifles and uppers.

Excellent workmanship!
First time purchase from SKD, and it will not be the last. Price was outstanding, shipping fast, packed perfectly. I truly appreciate fine workmanship. One of the reason I like guns so much is that the finer examples are basically works of art in a sense. I've used ar-15's and/or m-16's for over 3 decades, over that time I've mostly used Colt firearms. I have never bought a replacement charging handling. With all the positive comments on the BCMGunfighter, I decided to try it. And I am sold. What a well thought out, robust, piece of equipment. With SKD giving such good service, and getting such a great product, I could not be happier.

Gaining clearance
With the scope and single point mount getting in the way I got tired of tearing my finger nail off on the sling point. The Medium BCM charging handle was just what I needed to gain clearance and save some skin.

The last charging handle you'll ever buy
This was my fourth Gunfighter, I have 3 mediums and 1 large. Unless you need to clear large optics or something else that protrudes out on the left side of the upper receiver than the medium should be right for just about everyone. I have large hands, I wear XL/size 12 gloves, and I find the medium to be perfect for me. It also digs into you and/or your gear slightly less than the large when your weapon is slung. One handing manipulations of the CH are solid feeling and inspire confidence in the strength and build quality of these units. The cost may be around double what you would pay for a standard CH, but the extra $ is definitely money well spent. This coming from someone who analyzes every part he puts in his weapons and considers whether or not the extra cost and/or weight justify themselves and add to the functionality and/or capabilities of the rifle. BCM Gunfighters are no longer an upgrade to me, but are now a standard in my mind and something that goes on every rifle I own

worth every penny!
hands down the best latch I have ever purchased, strong and rigid and easy to operate one handed I will be putting these on all my rifles. I bought the medium latch just because I did not want a huge latch hanging off the side of my rifle (not saying the large latch is comically large) so the medium is what I will be sticking with .

Best Charging Handle
This is the most durable charging handle I have ever used. It does not twist under heavy usage during training. Essential gear if you are a serious user.
