After a years-long stint in legal and logistical purgatory, the best-selling charging handle of the past decade has made its return. Previously licensed and distributed by BCM as the original GUNFIGHTER Charging Handle, VLTORs patented design is back on the market. Its the same exact charging handle design youve known and loved since 2009, simply re-released under strictly our own moniker.
The VLTOR Charging Handle is a patented design that redirects the force off of the latchs roll pin and into the body of the charging handle, which is especially crucial during support hand only manipulations. This design makes the charging handle stronger and less prone to roll pin or latch breakage. The VLTOR Charging Handle design has proven itself over the last decade, both domestically and abroad.
The Mod 4 (Medium Latch) charging handles are available now. Mod 3 (Large Latch) units will be available in 2-3 weeks. Mod 5 (Small Latch) and Mod 44 (Ambidextrous) variations will be available in the future.

Not much reason to not get one
Pros: Does what it says it does. Extended latch makes reaction hand manipulation of the charging handle smoother and easier. Cons: extended latch might increase likeliness of the handle getting caught on something (so minor) Overall: get one and marvel at how much more comfortable it is to charge the weapon. I'm 5'6" and the medium length is plenty enough for my hands, even with gloves.
