Aimpoint PRO Patrol Rifle Optic
Designed with input from a distinguished group of current and former professionals, the Patrol Rifle Optic incorporates many never before seen features to maximize this sight's performance within the challenging conditions faced by modern law enforcement. A hard-anodized 30mm tube was utilized, enclosing a high efficiency circuit that allows the sight to be turned on and left on for up to three years using a single battery.
The Aimpoint PRO Patrol Rifle Optic's front lens utilizes a unique band-pass coating, which allows the sight to be used with all generations of night vision devices. The modular QRP2 mount includes a removable spacer that indexes the sight at the optimal height for co-witness with the standard iron sights on AR15/M16/M4 Carbine style weapons. This spacer can be removed to enable the use of the sight on police shotguns or sub-machine guns. The QRP2 mount for the PRO Optic also incorporates a torque-limiting twist knob that provides the optimal level of pressure on the rail while completely eliminating the possibility of over-tightening. Both the PRO Optic's front and rear lenses are recessed within the sight body to provide protection against impact damage, scratches, and fingerprints.
Flip covers are included to further protect the lenses, and a transparent rear lens cover is utilized allowing the user to engage a target with the lens covers closed in a emergency situation. A two Minute of Angle (2 MOA) red dot is utilized to allow maximum accuracy at all distances and under all environmental conditions.
**As of 2012, Aimpoint has removed their LE/Govt/Security ONLY restriction to the PRO.**

I really like the sight, but at a distance the dot to me enlarges and covers to much of target. 50 yrds in excellent. I have only been to the range once since purchase and will I'm sure keep the pro on my M4. Great optice for the price and SKD is greta to deal will. Any more items I purchase I will check SKD first.

Online purchase, Aimpoint PRO Patrol Rifle Optic
I found SKD using an online search for AR15 accessories. I knew nothing about SKD, so I read the reviews and became convinced it would be a safe place to shop, and I was right. I found what I was looking for instock and it was at my front door in about four days. Great job!

Aim Point Pro
I recieved my new optics pretty quick. I do however would like to add that when I got my box in the mail. The inner box with the optics wasnt sealed or taped to prevent it from opening. It opened during shipping and some of the contents came out of the primarya box. The optics remained in its original packing safe and sound. I suggest that the primary box be secured with tape and bubble wrap or paper be used in the Mailing box to prevent the primary box from moving around. Overall I am very satisfied with my order and will continue to order products from SKD. Thank You

Overall great sight!!
This was easy to zero in and great value for the money.

Outstanding!
The optic was at my door in a matter of three business days. Package arrived unharmed. The optic itself fit as intended on my rifle and the included QRP2 mount is very secure. Some may find the protrusion of the QRP knob out to the left to be a nuisance, but does not interfere in any regard with my shooting style.

AIM POINT
One of the best. I looked at Bushnell TRS 25 and Vortex Strikefire. Just spend the extra and get the best. I was disappointed in the packing of the item. The battery, extra mounting screws and wrench, were all free floating around optic and not, in the allotted foam slots. The clear lens cover was scratched. The item was in stock and shipped in to the house in three days.

One of the best choices for red dot optics
If you are in the market for a zero magnification top quality a red dot it pretty much comes down to EoTech and AimPoint. The EoTech offers faster target acquisition with the 65 MOA circle models, less clutter in the overall downrange picture, silent controls, and a zero signature downrange. The AimPoint offers much easier to operate controls, exceptional battery life, and snap caps to keep the snow/mud/rain out when not in use. If no downrange signature is important you might want to consider adding a honeycomb to the AimPoint. If the AimPoint clicking sound (when adjusting the dot intensity) bothers you then keep it on for the duration as the battery life is in the many months. It is a tough choice, both are battle-proven optics that will withstand quite a bit of abuse. Amongst the AimPoints the Patrol model is probably the one that makes the most sense for people that will not go night vision.

Great Optic
Solidly built, based on the same body as several of the other Aimpoint Optics. Tight Groupings - returns perfectly to zero after removing and reattaching.

Great product, great price, questionable packing
Picked this bad boy up with the Memorial Day discount for a great price! This is my first Aimpoint (and quality optic for that matter) and I am extremely impressed with the quality. The mount that Aimpoint gives you may not be the best, but for the price who can really complain? IT'S FREE!! (kind of..) This was also my first order from SKD and was extremely impressed with the shipping. My only complaint was that when I recieved my package, there was no packing material in it, which allowed the Aimpoint box to open and the contents to rattle around freely inside the box. Thankfully nothing was damaged, and is a testament to the Aimpoint's durability, but when I pay this kind of money for something, I expect them to throw 50 cents worth of packaging in there to protect it from the evils of USPS handling.
