Esstac Pistol KYWI Triple Mag Pouch

Based on the runaway success of the M4 KYWI line of pouches, ESSTAC is proud to introduce their new Pistol KYWI pouch line up for the discerning shooter.

Constructed of a double layer 1000D Cordura body and backing, the Pistol KYWI pouch is made to survive abrasion while the minimalist design keeps the weight to a minimum. Measuring 3.5" tall, the Pistol KYWI pouch allows for full depth adjustment so you can have most or almost none of your Double Stack pistol magazine sticking out beyond the top edge of the pouch.

Made to fit most common 9/40 double stack pistol magazines, the Pistol KYWI pouch will hold up to a Glock 21 magazine, but will NOT retain a single stack 1911 mag.

The Pistol KYWI pouch makes a great addition for Molle padded belts, and attaches via 2 Short Malice Clips (not included). These pouches retain your mags with authority yet release them lightning fast when grabbed. Made by the magical nylon and kydex fairies of Camano Island, WA, USA.

    Best I've used

Posted by Rubio on 7th Oct 2015

These esstac pouches are the best pouches I've ever used for their purpose. Pros are: Takes up minimal space, mounts to any molle, fits a lot of different mags, good retention, covered in cordura (not as loud as kydex or polymer). Cons are: Mags are very close together, Not enough mounting options for duty belts because they sit a little too high to clear a plate carrier but can be remedied by building a kydex drop panel.

    Esstac Pistol KYWI fits great

I was initially surprised by the small size of the magazine pouch. When it comes to actual execution you want something that fits, and built well. All marks hit on this pouch. Stop thinking about it and get the malice

    Decent retention

Magazine pouch has decent retention with the Kywi kydex retention; however it feels as though the designers never actually tested the fit with real magazines. When multiple magazines are sitting side by side, there is no room for the buttplate of the magazine in between magazines.

    Esstac Pistol KYWI

This product is definitely one of my favorite pieces of gear. I use it in conjunction with a battle belt. It offers great retention without sacrificing easy removal and indexing of your magazine. It's high quality and at a good price. The only thing I might remotely consider a flaw is that if you have a more compact sized mag, it might not protrude much from the pouch. It is adjustable, but my glock 19 mags only protrude slightly from pouch at the highest adjustment. However, I believe that overall, this is a great product and worth every penny.

    Thumbs up

Holds the G21 mags very securely. The most effective open top mag pouch I have seen.

    Awesome, with one minor caveat.

The KYWI mag pouches are awesome. The only minor issue is that the kydex inserts don't quite properly grip the double-tapered Sig 229 E2 magazines, but that's nothing a heat gun won't fix.

    Perfect

I love this mag pouch. Primarily used with a m9a1 but glock 17 fits perfectly as well. It takes a while lot of shaking upside diwn with a loaded mag to slip one out but let go easy when needed. The kriptek highlander Mach my rig perfectly

    Nice Pouch

Fits my HK45/P30/VP9 mags with no issues. Holds mags securely while staying easily accessible for a combat reload. Was perfect for the HSGI drop leg molle platform on top of a triple M4 kywi.
