Roll 1 Trauma Pouch
The Roll 1™ Trauma Pouch is a Dangler® style pouch that stores Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) contents and offers rapid deployment in an emergency. The concept for the Roll 1™ Trauma Pouch is credited to our good friends at Forward Observations Group, who originally designed and fabricated the prototype pouch for fellow SOF in Syria. We teamed up to re-design it with the Ferro Concepts touch and to get it into hands of the people who need it.
The Roll 1™ is intended to be worn in the opening of the rear body armor plate pocket: occupying unused real estate, staying out of the way, and adding lumbar support for full-kit vehicle rides. The Roll 1’s open ended, ambidextrous outer pouch enables access on both sides of the casualty if trauma care is required. Simply grab the left or right deployment pull tab, yank out the insert to gain access to IFAK contents, and go to work. The Roll 1™ can also be mounted to the front of a plate carrier, battle belt, or anywhere a large enough hook and loop interface is used. Included is the outer pouch, and the insert pouch. Trauma kits /IFAK contents for the insert are sold separately.
The name Roll 1™ is a reference to the medical terms relating to levels of care: Role 1 or Echelon 1 is medical support integral at the tactical level that provides immediate life-saving care, first aid and triage. Role 2 is med support at a higher/larger level where Role 1 usually send patients for MEDEVAC. Roles 3 and 4 are specialty surgical capabilities and long-term definitive care.

Wish they had these 10 years ago
This thing is sweet. Great place for a bare-essentials trauma that's out of the way, comfortable in about any position, and always easy to access. I definitely wouldn't want it to be any smaller. Giggity.

Great solution
This is a great way to add an IFAK center line without bulk. I ran it on the bottom of a Onward Research chest rig during a two day course that required getting into the prone position frequently, I found this to be unobtrusive and comfortable.

Awesome kit
Super compact and comfortable to wear. This pouch stores everything i need in a small package out of the way of the rest of my kit.

Pack it smart
This is a great option to keep it accessible regardless of your dominant hand. You can fit a good amount into it, but you have to pack efficiently to maximize the space. I was able to get 2 CATs, an ETB, pair of chest seals, quik clot gauze, and a chest decompression needle in with a little extra room. It makes it tight but can work. Works great on a slickster with no modification. Had to put on double male and female strips of velcro to make it work on a First Spear STT, but it works! Nice to have the same setup on mine and the spouse's.
