HSGI Double Decker "TACO" Magazine Pouch
Double Decker "TACO" , Modular single rifle and pistol magazine pouch. Just like its older brother this unique pouch will hold more types of mags than just the AR series of mags. Not only will it hold AR type mags including P-MAGS, it will also hold Magazines for the AK, FAL, M14, SR25, M1A1, G3, Saiga 12, and more..... even some types of radios. It will also hold the large Flash bangs and the M-18 Smoke grenades. This mag pouch measures 3" in width. Made of Cordura, Kydex and shock-cord, it is silent when stuck against and while extracting the mag.
The "TACO" maintains a positive grip of the mag on which is adjustable and does not need use of any other securing systems unless desired upon by user preference. Webbing tabs are sewn in on the top for use of "over the top" bungee retainers if desired (not included). Additional loop Velcro is sewn in the inside of the Rifle pouch if the user wishes to use adhesive backed hook Velcro on his magazine body for added security. But not only will this pouch hold ANY Rifle magazine, it will hold ANY Pistol Magazine. Single Stack or Double Stack.

Excellent pouches
I have been running these pouches for 3 years now and they are still as good as brand new. The best thing about these is that I don't have to switch up my load out when I shoot a different platform. They hold my AR mags, M14 mags, as well as Vz58 mags without changing anything. The pistol pouch holds 1911 and Glock mags the same. Retention is perfect. I have never lost a mag in a drill or in the field.

Could be Great
Really like the pouch and retention. Absolutely hate mounting it. Thirty minutes and two broken fingernails later I had two installed on my SWAT equipment. Thank GOD I had them in the right location. Trying different locations would be a nightmare. If I have to move them it will be with a pair of needle nose pliers. Fingers still ache.

Great gear
As the title suggests, I have been using some kind of HSGI pouch for a while now and I have no complaints about any of them. They are constantly coming up with new and innovative products or great improvements to existing ones. At first I struggled with the new HSG clips, but after using more brain and less muscle I have found they are the easiest, most secure mounting solution I have seen to date (see above). I'm not old but I started out using gator clips. Perhaps they are easier, but nowhere near as secure.

Functional and versatile
A great mag pouch that fits my admittedly weird combo of an AK mag and a single-stack pistol mag. It works well with Magpul, Tapco, Circle 10, and surplus steel. Definitely the best option out there for AK mags.

As a universal mag pouch goes nothing *cough* G -Code *cough* comes close.

Excellent product, price a little steep
I've bought several of these pouches and love that they can accommodate several different magazine sizes. The only complaint I have is the price, seems very expensive. I justified the purchase since these can be used for many magazines.
