HSGI Double Decker "TACO" Magazine Pouch
Double Decker "TACO" , Modular single rifle and pistol magazine pouch. Just like its older brother this unique pouch will hold more types of mags than just the AR series of mags. Not only will it hold AR type mags including P-MAGS, it will also hold Magazines for the AK, FAL, M14, SR25, M1A1, G3, Saiga 12, and more..... even some types of radios. It will also hold the large Flash bangs and the M-18 Smoke grenades. This mag pouch measures 3" in width. Made of Cordura, Kydex and shock-cord, it is silent when stuck against and while extracting the mag.
The "TACO" maintains a positive grip of the mag on which is adjustable and does not need use of any other securing systems unless desired upon by user preference. Webbing tabs are sewn in on the top for use of "over the top" bungee retainers if desired (not included). Additional loop Velcro is sewn in the inside of the Rifle pouch if the user wishes to use adhesive backed hook Velcro on his magazine body for added security. But not only will this pouch hold ANY Rifle magazine, it will hold ANY Pistol Magazine. Single Stack or Double Stack.

Nice piece of kit, must have on a battle belt
This thing is very well made, its VERY tight though. I don't think I can put my ak mag not the rifle taco without having to look at it. The mags sit very snug but come out pretty easily. Overall I great piece of kit!

taco pouches work excellent
These pouches are the best. Small enough to hug different size mags but big enough to accommodate other similar size and shape objects. (Multi tools, knives, flashlights, comms)

Best pouch out there
Sure they cost a lot. However if you want good retention, flexibility and the smoothest mag draw you can find. These are worth the money.

Awesome gear
The pouches are great. Hold the mags in real well. Super fast Ninja shipping (as per usual). Even using the tips from HSGI, it still took me the better part of an hour to attach 3 of them to my PC. The hardest part was getting the MALICE clips into the pouch (even more aggravating when you put a couple of them in backwards). Lacing to the MOLLE webbing wasn't too tough though.

Great Service
To review the HSGI Double Stack Mag Pounch would just be a repeat of what's already known, SOB to put on, but by far the best around once it's on. I would like to speak about SKD and the outstanding service they provide. I had my product on back order and asked to be notified when it returned to stock. I got an email that it was available! Yes! They actually do email when it returns to stock! So many other companies, DSG, Palmetto, BCM, could learn something here. I check SKD first for gear I need cause they provide!

The double decker taco's have worked great. they are a pain to get on to the webbing but if you take your time they are not impossible.

Adapt and Overcome
These mag pouchesare simply incredible, if your thinking about open top retention mag pouches then think no more. Sure you could buy other brands but none are as versitile, the price may be staggering but considering the fact they will harness any mag i can stuff in them(even ruger 10/22 high capacity magazines) you actualy save money and time when fitting gear to seperate load-outs. Even if you are leary of open top mag pouches the TACO pouches are so simple to fit with bungie cord retention loops for added peace of mind when in rough handling such as rappelling or para-jumping if the need arises.
