HSGI Double Decker "TACO" Magazine Pouch
Double Decker "TACO" , Modular single rifle and pistol magazine pouch. Just like its older brother this unique pouch will hold more types of mags than just the AR series of mags. Not only will it hold AR type mags including P-MAGS, it will also hold Magazines for the AK, FAL, M14, SR25, M1A1, G3, Saiga 12, and more..... even some types of radios. It will also hold the large Flash bangs and the M-18 Smoke grenades. This mag pouch measures 3" in width. Made of Cordura, Kydex and shock-cord, it is silent when stuck against and while extracting the mag.
The "TACO" maintains a positive grip of the mag on which is adjustable and does not need use of any other securing systems unless desired upon by user preference. Webbing tabs are sewn in on the top for use of "over the top" bungee retainers if desired (not included). Additional loop Velcro is sewn in the inside of the Rifle pouch if the user wishes to use adhesive backed hook Velcro on his magazine body for added security. But not only will this pouch hold ANY Rifle magazine, it will hold ANY Pistol Magazine. Single Stack or Double Stack.
Made in the USA and is covered by the HSGI Lifetime warranty.
Dimensions: 3"H x 2.2"W x 5"L

Great pouch - just mounting is a nightmare
Great pouch. I use it for the Swiss Army GP90 mags. They fit as well (you can add it to the long list). I just recommend to remove the 'coupling pins' (on the magazines, those having them, will know what I mean). HOWEVER: Mounting them with the included Malice Clips is a NIGHTMARE. I abandoned, in spite of following the YouToube Instructions. Get yourself the "Speed Clips" from Blackhawk to mount them, saves you a lot of time and hassle!

Economy of space
The taco pouches are great for providing economy of space on a kit with limited real estate.

Well built
It is HSGI, so it is well built. Fits my M1a mag and Glock 21 mag fine. Without increasing the tension, it will hold an AR15 mag and G17 mag fine, but a quick tug on the cord makes it better. Not gotten it in the field yet, I do have concerns that the many cords will tend to snag. Very tight molle on the back, takes some effort to mount this, but is is rock solid once there.

TACO Pouch
At this time I can only give four stars because I have not seen how this pouch holds up over time. With that being said I have not seen a better pouch to hold a variety of magazines. Works as described. Pleased with purchase. If you have the potential to run a AK and a AR these are the ticket.

Bad-Ass pouch
Truly multi-platform pouch, Great way to consolidate gear. This works great on my plate carrier so I can get more real-estate out of it. Just used my buddies M1A1 (M14) yesterday and his HUGE magazines were retained well and had good retention in the same pouch that I run my m4 pmags in!!

High Quality..Pain to mount.
I have been using the 1st generation Tacos since they came out a few years ago and decided to transition to the Double Decker version on my Battle Belt. They are made great. I would have given 5 STARS if they were not such a pain in the rear to mount.

Performs as advertised
These bad boys work great, everything in description is true. Reviewer above me must be special because though it is a little tricky to MALICE clip them to gear, it is entirely possible. Search for video on youtube from HGSI on how to malice clip them, needle nose pliers work wonders. Even so, you don't need to malice them many people use zip ties or p-cord to good effect. On a side note, SKD rocks and ships real fast- this is the place to get your gear!

Great Product
Top notch product, brilliantly executed. While not as fast as a FastMag when reinserting a magazine, they are equally fast when pulling out a magazine so your speed reloads will be the same, tactical reloads a touch slower. Overall they are less bulky than FastMags, and quieter as well. I run both FastMags and Tacos on my gear, each has its own +'s and -'s. As for the Malice clip installation, needle nose pliers, gutted 550 cord and a flat head screwdriver can all be helpful. Once on, they are ROCK solid.
