HSGI Double Decker "TACO" Magazine Pouch

Double Decker "TACO" , Modular single rifle and pistol magazine pouch. Just like its older brother this unique pouch will hold more types of mags than just the AR series of mags. Not only will it hold AR type mags including P-MAGS, it will also hold Magazines for the AK, FAL, M14, SR25, M1A1, G3, Saiga 12, and more..... even some types of radios. It will also hold the large Flash bangs and the M-18 Smoke grenades. This mag pouch measures 3" in width. Made of Cordura, Kydex and shock-cord, it is silent when stuck against and while extracting the mag.

The "TACO" maintains a positive grip of the mag on which is adjustable and does not need use of any other securing systems unless desired upon by user preference. Webbing tabs are sewn in on the top for use of "over the top" bungee retainers if desired (not included). Additional loop Velcro is sewn in the inside of the Rifle pouch if the user wishes to use adhesive backed hook Velcro on his magazine body for added security. But not only will this pouch hold ANY Rifle magazine, it will hold ANY Pistol Magazine. Single Stack or Double Stack.

Made in the USA and is covered by the HSGI Lifetime warranty.

Dimensions: 3"H x 2.2"W x 5"L

Used on my belt - gives me a rifle and a pistol - and flexibility for what type right at my disposal. Cant beat it for the price.

The simplicity of the pouch makes it almost truly universal in accommodating almost any mag out there, or small equipment that you need to keep handy. The bungee system allows you to tailor the amount of tension that you require to meet your needs. These are also light weight and durable.

    Love the TACOs...

Love the TACOs, hate the malice clips. for ~$40 each you would think HSGI could come up with some other way of attaching these than malice clips. Craftsmanship is 2nd to none.

    Great Idea

I love the versitility of the TACO product. The ability to utilize the same pouch for my M1A1 and AR-15 is fantastic. As noted in previous posts the malice clips are a pain but once you get the install process perfected you forget about the pain. I intend on converting all my pouchs to the TACO line. SKD did a great job in getting me my order...thanks!

    Best mag pouch out there

Posted by David Allen on 17th Jan 2014

I had been thinking about trying one of the Fast Mags for my rig but decided to give the double decker taco a shot. I had read a lot of hype and watched some interesting videos on them and was not at all disappointed. After trying one out and putting it through its paces I will never use another pouch and plan on buying several more to replace all my others. And if you switch to a 308 platform, no problem. 308 mags fit the taco perfectly as well. The pistol taco that is part of the double decker was the real question mark for me. I wasn't sure how it would take other non magazine items and was ecstatic to find out how versatile it was. It expands to hold the sport smoke tactical smoke grenade perfectly. Also, multi tools, knives, flashlights, chem lights etc fit great in the pistol taco not to mention any pistol mag on the market. But the real highlight for me was how perfectly the pistol taco fit my FN 5.7 mags which are not a normal size and hard to find pouches for. Make the switch

    Rifle mag/ Pistol mag pouch

I would like to start this off by saying i have a new found profound hatred of MALICE clips. The pouch its self is amazingly constructed and the retention is unsurpassed. I know these are expensive however you get what you pay for and I will be buying more of these in the future.
