HSGI "TACO" Modular Single Rifle Magazine Pouch

This unique pouch, compared to similar mag pouches in it's class, will hold more types of magazines than just the AR series of mags. Not only will it hold AR type mags including P-MAGS, it will also hold magazines for the AK, FAL, M14, SR25, M1A1 20 rnds, G3 and more... even some types of radios. It will also hold large flash bangs and M-18 smoke grenades.

This mag pouch measures 3" in width compared to the top selling mag pouch which is wider and disrupts much needed space on the user's modular platform. Made of Cordura, polymer brackets, and shock-cord, it is silent when struck against and while extracting the mag. The "TACO" maintains a positive grip on the mag which is adjustable and does not need any other use of a securing system unless desired by user preference.

Webbing tabs are sewn in on the top for use of "over the top" bungee retainers if desired (not included). Additional loop velcro is sewn in the inside if the user wishes to use adhesive backed hook velcro on his magazine body for added security.

Testers have reported no issues other than it is a little hard to mount to a platform, but this was very little concern to them compared to the overwhelming positives this unique mag pouch provides. Made in the USA and covered by HSGI's Lifetime Warranty .

Dimensions: 3"H x 1.2"W x 5"L

The weakness- if you're crawling up a beachhead over broken barbwire with these TACOs on your stomach - the bungees will eventually wear out and fail - That aside, these things are awesome. being able to toss mags for m4, M&P 15-22, AK, or m14 into the same pouch with little to no adjustment is really handy in many situations from the training environment, to the combat environment.

This is a fantastic mag pouch. The retention system is one of the best. I love the adjustability. If your on the fence about these pouch, just jump off and buy a few. You won't be disappointed.

Does what it says it does. Buy it.

Pros: good retention; easy one handed reinsertion of mags; fast extraction of mags. No complaints. Cons: expensive; sharp corners on the kydex and nylon where fingers can get cut up. The shock cord makes me worried about how long it will be before it gets cut and I'll have to replace it. Overall: buy it before the price goes up or the market is flooded with counterfits. Worth it.

    HSGI Taco mag pouch

I have to say that I am very impressed with this mag pouch. I think it's very versatile, functional and very well made. My only complaint is the malice straps and I don't feel that it should be this difficult to install on your molle. It just kills your fingers after installing 5 of them straight in a row even with the aid of needle nosed pliers and a flat head screw driver. There's got to be an easier way.

    Multi platform mags

I'll start by saying these are an absolute B^%$& to put on. Use two screwdrivers. thats all I can say. But their benefit far exceeds the con. I have 3 on a belt I use for all my platforms: 9mm SBR ( 2, glock 33 rnd mags) LMT MWS (Ar10 mags) AK's (Ak mags) AR-15's (AR mags) Custom Bolt gun (AI box Mags) This pouch literally fits every mag I have SECURELY. Amazing product, I can change my loadout on the fly to suit whatever platform I'm carrying its amazing. Probably will never buy another pouch again.

This is the second TACO Rifle Pouch I have purchased and while it's a pain to put on, once attached it's solid. Thank you SKD for the fast shipping.

Can't believe I waited so long to buy this

I was a bit skeptical of this at first, but having tried all my different types of mags (Aug, M16, M14, etc.) in it, I'm sold. Very versatile pouch. A little hard to install on molle webbing, but not as hard as others made it out to be. Highly recommended!
