HSGI "TACO" Modular Single Rifle Magazine Pouch

This unique pouch, compared to similar mag pouches in it's class, will hold more types of magazines than just the AR series of mags. Not only will it hold AR type mags including P-MAGS, it will also hold magazines for the AK, FAL, M14, SR25, M1A1 20 rnds, G3 and more... even some types of radios. It will also hold large flash bangs and M-18 smoke grenades.

This mag pouch measures 3" in width compared to the top selling mag pouch which is wider and disrupts much needed space on the user's modular platform. Made of Cordura, polymer brackets, and shock-cord, it is silent when struck against and while extracting the mag. The "TACO" maintains a positive grip on the mag which is adjustable and does not need any other use of a securing system unless desired by user preference.

Webbing tabs are sewn in on the top for use of "over the top" bungee retainers if desired (not included). Additional loop velcro is sewn in the inside if the user wishes to use adhesive backed hook velcro on his magazine body for added security.

Testers have reported no issues other than it is a little hard to mount to a platform, but this was very little concern to them compared to the overwhelming positives this unique mag pouch provides. Made in the USA and covered by HSGI's Lifetime Warranty .

Dimensions: 3"H x 1.2"W x 5"L

    Awesome pouch.

Love the Taco mag pouch. Great adjustable range of retention. Great quality. Just kind of a pain with the malice clips, seemed like it was maybe 3/4 - 1/2 inch too short for the malice clip to fit right. Still worth every penny.

A little hard to put on my molle plate carrier but so worth the effort. Mags fit very snug

I never cease to be amazed by the service SKD offers. My orders are always correct and I receive the gear in 3 days or less. Keep up the good work, guys.

HSGI Taco Single Rifle Mag pouch

Posted by KT on 21st Apr 2012

Excellent pouch; held my Lancer and P-mags well. Initially harder to get the mags in, but with continued use, becomes easier to insert quickly. Mounting definitely a pain with the malice clips, but I wound up not weaving the clip back through the middle molle strap, which made it much easier to mount. Seems to be stable enough for my needs! BTW, when they say they are shipping ninjas, it's true! Super fast!

    Excellent pouch

This pouch is awesome operationally, but it's a pain in the @$%$ hole to mount. For a $30 pouch i really feel like HSGI could take the extra time to weave the malice clips into the molle on the pouch prior to shipping. According to the video on the HSGI's site it's "easy" for him...

    Awesome.

I had several of these already, but needed more for an other gear project. I like being able to use the same rig for my AR/AK/M14 if need be. Worth the money.

    Grate mag pouch

Posted by Josh on 27th Mar 2012

First off sod does a great job of shipping things fast and efficiently. Theses are some of the best mag pouches I have found and its really nice that the can hold a wide variation of magazines. The only thing that I found that I didn't like was how difficult it was to mount to my molle battle belt.

    clarity on mounting options needed.

Posted by Ian Hebert on 18th Mar 2012

This is an amazing product that works as advertised, but he only mounting option is MOLLE and that was less that clear in the descrition. Not a bad thing, i now have more stuff to buy from SKD, just something that should be better advertised. it is currently working on a belt system just more play than would be desired.
