HSGI "TACO" Modular Single Rifle Magazine Pouch
This unique pouch, compared to similar mag pouches in it's class, will hold more types of magazines than just the AR series of mags. Not only will it hold AR type mags including P-MAGS, it will also hold magazines for the AK, FAL, M14, SR25, M1A1 20 rnds, G3 and more... even some types of radios. It will also hold large flash bangs and M-18 smoke grenades.
This mag pouch measures 3" in width compared to the top selling mag pouch which is wider and disrupts much needed space on the user's modular platform. Made of Cordura, polymer brackets, and shock-cord, it is silent when struck against and while extracting the mag. The "TACO" maintains a positive grip on the mag which is adjustable and does not need any other use of a securing system unless desired by user preference.
Webbing tabs are sewn in on the top for use of "over the top" bungee retainers if desired (not included). Additional loop velcro is sewn in the inside if the user wishes to use adhesive backed hook velcro on his magazine body for added security.
Testers have reported no issues other than it is a little hard to mount to a platform, but this was very little concern to them compared to the overwhelming positives this unique mag pouch provides. Made in the USA and covered by HSGI's Lifetime Warranty .
Dimensions: 3"H x 1.2"W x 5"L

bad ass pouches
i bought one of these pouches for Shits and giggles i wanted to place it on my Tac tailor battle belt as a weak hand reload this pouch was going to be used with an AK set up, even though the description says it can hold an Ak mag i had my doubts but those doubts were quickly silenced and neutralized. Ak mags fit beautifully excellent retention and ease of use holstering and reholstering an AK magazine. only issue is they're a bitch to weave in the molle systems its built so well but you should put your blood sweat and tears into your kit to be perfect anyway, installing this pouch will give you all three, get the sand outta your Vagina and get this pouch you'll love it for AK set up.

Worth the Money
TACOs are simply the best mag pouch you can buy. They fit every magazine I've put in them. They're expensive, but you'll never buy another pouch again. Forget about velcro, bungees and kydex. These pouches are firm and silent. Best purchase I could've made. They also come with the new clips instead of malace clips. These are easier to install. 10/10 Pros: 1. Fit all types of mags 2. Nearly silent removal and replacement of mags 3. Clean sleek look Cons: 1. Price 2. Might have some trouble installing them, but you'll get the hang of it pretty easily. Would recommend to anyone.

Versatility
Good pouch - recommend rounding the corners of the polymer "jaws" because they're a bit jagged (your hand will thank you). Holds mags securely and maintains a low profile (I have mine mounted on a belt using the Raven Concealment sub loader).

My go to magazine pouch
My biggest gripe about the TACO was trying to push a MALICE clip through to mount them on MOLLE gear, but with the newly redesigned clips the problem has been eliminated. Easy installation with no tools and a snug yet universal fit. Not a fan of double stack magazines so this option is nice and low profile without snagging another magazine in the stack. Highly recommended.

HSGI TACO...Highly recommended
Great product... very versatile especially if you're running two different rifles (AR and AK). HSGI TACOS will accommodate both magazines. Highly recommended.

Good to go
Have been using these for a couple of years and they have not let me down. Decided to try the singles taco out to see if I liked it better for the prone position as the double keeps me up a little higher off the ground. The exchange is that I won't be able to carry as many mags.

Works with swiss style mags
I got these to hold my SIG Swiss style mags. If you have any experience with the Swiss style mags, you know the have weird numbs, bumps and an overall shape that makes finding a mag pouch that works annoyingly difficult. Thankfully the "TACO" works perfect and keeps the mags where they need to be without any hassle (except for the malice clips).
