ITW Fastmags - I carry two of these on my Weak side as my Primary reload pouches. I love them. My reload times have been cut in half. They are very sturdy and even with my knack for breaking things they hold up. I have worn out the rubber band on the outside from rough use and they still retain my mags with no problems.     The Fastmag is difficult to use (pull the mag out) when mounted on your kit up right (so that the mag must be pulled upward -toward you head) however, this issues is remedied by turning the Fastmag open-side down. Your concern will be that this condition is not secure and could allow the mag (particularly full mags) to fall out, but you would be wrong. You cannot work a full mag loose. I can imagine that if you fall from a plane without a chute a mag could dislodge but at that point I believe your mags will be of little concern anyway.

    i like the mag carriers so far,seem to hold mag really well.would have been to have received some directions abt how to use them.seems to be really well made

    OUTSTANDING piece of gear. I ran Blade Tech kydex pouches for a while and while fast, they were bulky and I could never get the tension for just the balance of speed and retention I wanted. ITW's pouch is slick and streamlined. They double up well and the MOLLE model (only model I have) secures well. ITW Fastmags are now my primary reload pouches on my plate carriers. If you haven't watched the milspec monkey video on them, do so. I loaded a PMag, and shook the thing upside down for a minute and it never released. Flipped it over, attached to a MOLLE battle belt and had a smooth uninterrupted draw. Absolutely outstanding. Also if you are going to buy, buy them from SKD. I bought my first 4 elseware and waited two and a half weeks. When I placed my order from SKD for 5 more I had a shipping notice that day which confirmed they had shipped and had delivery to my door three days later (including a Sunday).
