ITW FastMag
by Sean
ITW Fastmags - I carry two of these on my Weak side as my Primary reload pouches. I love them. My reload times have been cut in half. They are very sturdy and even with my knack for breaking things they hold up. I have worn out the rubber band on the outside from rough use and they still retain my mags with no problems. The only issue I have had is that they make noise when my rifle slaps against them. View More SKD Staff Picks

Nice and tight
Got these to go with my FAST gear. They hold the mags alot tighter than I expected. The tan I ordered is actually coyote in color which was perfect. I dont have them double up, just singles across the front. The mags stay tight to my rig and I can not foresee having snagging problems.

Good and secure
I wondered before ordering if these would really be secure enough. I moved the rubber band down to the lower position to start with, expecting it to be too loose. I wound up leaving it there. Holds my M4 magazines securely, yet they come out very cleanly.

Great product, but not all powerful mag solution
I'm glad I have one. May buy another one day. But I don't see anyone having a whole rack of these. It's good to stick one on a battle belt or something. Pretty stiff raw, but that's what keeps it in.

Fast Mag
I just started running two of these ninjas in my "Immediate Ammo" position, on the front of my carrier. I like the way the magazines have enough space between them and the carrier to get a good purchase on magazine during reloads. It seams like I'm not trying to dig for my magazine. They seam well constructed and sturdy, we'll see.

Could be better
It works as it should but left a little to be desired. The belt mounting system doesn't stay put as well as it should and I wish it were more adjustable as far as tension. The offerings from blade tech seem to solve these issues.

Best mag pouch I've used
The biggest reason I got these is because I was looking for something that would give me quick access to my mags that didn't require fumbling with clasps, velcro or cords. The mags are held in securely and I like how I'm able to grab a large piece of the magazine when pulling them out of the pouch. Some mags only have an inch or two of magazine exposed, however these allow you to grab enough of the mag that you're ready to stick it in to the gun right away without having to change your grip once the mag clears the pouch. So far, I've been very happy with these.

FastMag review
I've used these for multiple carbine classes, and they work great. Excellent retention, quick release, and easy to move. Fairly expensive, but they do work very well. Being able to stack them is a nice feature.

Excellent gear at great price
Received my mag pouch fast at a great price. Had to hunt around to find the fast mag, ordered from 3 different companies before I actually found it in stock and had it shipped for a class. Excellent piece of gear, great fit, low profile. It can be worn on my belt or on my LBV. My magazines can be held upright or upside down without fear of falling out, but when you need the magazine out for a reload it is no problem. I would recommend this piece of KIT to anyone wanting excellent quality at decent pricing.
