ITW FastMag™ Pistol [FMP]

Ever have mags fall out while actively moving? Or your elastic has worn out on your carrier? You don't have to worry about that anymore with this cool mag pouch. I have to say I'm happy with this purchase. Your mags will always be where you put them. The great thing is you can change the level of retention by changing the location of your band. So if you like having a quick mag change, or if you like having your mag VERY snug, your good to go with this no matter what you prefer. Plenty of positive things to say, BUT a couple draw backs.. 1) Your rounds can only face outward or inward. NOT forward or backward. 2) You can't stack the pistol mag holder on to another pistol mag holder. However you CAN stack it onto its big brother, the rifle fast mag holder. 3) They are bigger than you think I have 4 on my battle belt. Takes up A LOT of room if you have 4 or more. But other than that, it's a great product and I'm happy with mine. I would recommend it to a fellow shooter.

My order shipped on March 20 and arrived March 22 around noon. Can't ask for better shipping for such a low price. I use this product for my Glock 17 Gen4 mags and they work just fine. A little bit of a tight fit, but I know they'll stay put. My only real complaint is the direction at which the rounds face when inserted (either toward the shooter's hip or away from it), but not a huge deal. I'm still very much satisfied. I'll be back next time I need a good product and in a hurry.

Took some time to get used to it. offers great tension (mags probably will never fall out). offers just the right amount of resistance when trying to remove the mags, this makes you grasp the mag with a little more balls making sure you are in control of the mag before insertion to the firearm. Will be purchasing a few more.

Another perfect transaction.My order was correct. Super fast shipping. Can't ask for anything more. I like the Rifle Fastmag, "stacked" with a pistol Fastmag because it securely holds and protects the mags, yet allows instant access to my mags and allows drawing either a rifle mag or pistol mag without one interfering with The other. If I draw a rifle mag the pistol mag does not sag as it does with stacked soft pouches. The stacked mags do not get in the way of eachother.

I love these. Great piece of gear to hold your magazines securely to your kit and allow quick access when needed. These come with an insert so you can place single stack magazines (1911 mags perfectly) in them. If you want to use the holder for double stack magazines you just remove the velcro retained insert. Easily and securely attaches to MOLLE/PAL webbing. A little stiff on the retension but I am sure it will get easier after use...and over all not a bad thing. I have not had the chance to use these in the field yet or during drills but I am looking forward to putting them to use and will see what I think afterwards. I am very happy with this purchase and love the AR magazine holders as well and can't think of a better place to buy it from than SKD.

I purchased these fastmag pistol mags for my vest and I have Sprinfield xD mags. These mags are very difficult to fit in with the tension band set to the Least amount of tension. This may cause issues during a tactical reload. Without the band they do fit much better, however I worry about them possibly coming out. I have not used them enough to really judge that yet. When I went to purchase these fastmags I could not locate a more specific description for which mags work well. I only found "most popular pistol mags." The product itself is great and I've personally seen them fit like a glove with glock mags.
