PIG Full Dexterity Tactical (FDT) Alpha Gloves

If you’ve ever worn tactical gloves while shooting and wished for something better… your wish is now reality.

The PIG FDT Alpha Gloves offer ground-breaking gun-handling dexterity and features that set them apart from the competition. And like ALL PIG Glove models, the PIG FDT Alphas feature Touch Screen conductive synthetic suede on the index finger and thumb for full compatibility with all your favorite devices.

FEATURES (* indicates industry firsts for a tactical glove):

  • Conductive Thumb and Trigger Finger material - Maximum reliability for touch screen use without losing tactile dexterity.
  • Single Layer Multi-Piece Palm - Designed specifically so that only one layer of material contacts your shooting grip.
  • Sensitized and Isolated Trigger Finger - The thinnest available Clarino™ material available, only on the trigger finger for ultimate sensitivity.
  • Selective Forschette Material - Inside forschettes are ventilated for maximum wicking. Outer forschettes are Clarino™ for durability.
  • Low Profile Hook Closure - Reduces abrasion on clothing.
  • Flex Joints - Enhanced flexibility and ventilation on each finger.
  • Dual Flex Joint Trigger Finger - Providing maximum flexibility where you need it most.
  • Bar-Tacked Para Cord Pull Loop... YES, NOW BAR-TACKED..
  • Short Cuff - Lightweight comfort and convenience.
  • Micro Suede Nose Wipe* - Fights against cold-weather drip. *Multicam/Multicam Black models do not have the Micro Suede Nose Wipe in deference to having more Multicam patterned material.
  • Ventilation holes in Palms and Fingers - Increased wicking.
  • Isolated Edge Padding - Protection without compromising the shooting grip.
  • Wrap-Over Finger Tips - Provides additional comfort and protection for finger nails.
  • Stretch Ballistic Nylon 1000D Padded Knuckles - Stretch ballistic nylon reduces pressure on the seams, thin padding takes the edge off of impacts.

At the end of the day, the PIG FDT-Alpha Gloves are a consumable product that will provide the user with the best tactile dexterity available in a tactical glove, and should be worn to destruction, then discarded and replaced. The selection of super sensitive materials and extremely tight seams mean that these gloves will eventually wear out, and there are no warranties implied. Please try them on and inspect them thoroughly for fit and finish before removing from the hangtag, but be forewarned, you will not want to take them off.

Best tactical gloves on the market

Posted by sean kocourek on 1st Jan 2015

These are the first pair of shooting/tactical gloves I've bought and I have no interest in using anything else. They're thin enough for me to easily access my phone while wearing them, and to accurately manipulate my weapons and gear without having that weird "disconnected" feeling I have when using thicker gloves. The double articulated trigger fingers are probably my favorite feature on them, it makes squeezing a trigger so much nicer than on any other glove I've tried. Simply the best gloves on the market, hands down. I just wish they'd release a FR version that I can use while deployed.

I'll be brief. These gloves are awesome. Lots of articulation with very little resistance. Super comfortable to shoot with.

    Gloves that Work!

    Posted by G A H on 1st Jan 2015

I purchased my first (2) pair of PIG Alpha gloves a year ago. I bought both L and XL not really knowing which would fit the best. I finally settled on the L and have worn them when shooting my rifles, handguns and bows and they give me more "feel" and dexterity than any glove I've used in the past.Since then I've bought (3) pair of PIG Alpha Touch for my wife, son and his girlfriend who also shoot and hunt and they love them.Keep in mind that gloves are a perishable product but the performance of these gloves are worth the service life and price!

    Absolutely Love These

Make sure you purchase a size up from your hand size as the pair I purchased was too tight. I fixed the glitch and they are fantastic.

    PIG FDT Alpha Gloves

Posted by James Kuhn on 1st Jan 2015

In a word excellent! I was actually surprised how well these gloves fit. They are comfortable and the amount of dexterity afforded is exceptional. I know it sounds stupid, but I wore the gloves around doing everyday kind of activities and there wasn't anything within reason I wasn't able to do. In fact, I'm typing this review on my Lap Top while wearing the PIG FDT Gloves. Even though these are not the Alpha Touch version, my 'touch pad' on the HP Lap-Top will move the 'mouse cursor' with my middle-finger, but not my index-finger. Go figure! I like these gloves so much I immediately ordered another pair. Knowing my luck, if I waited until the first pair wore-out, SKD would be out of stock. Overall, SKD price is reasonable, fit and finish is excellent and the S/H and Customer Service is excellent. SKD is a vendor I will do business with again.

    I like wearing gloves now.

Posted by Dylan Cagnard on 1st Jan 2015

I've been through quite a few pairs of gloves in my time. From standard issue to top-of-the-line tactical baggage handler gloves. Never have I worn a pair that actually "fits like a glove" Some points + Fits actual hand size. If you are a large get a large. Not a medium like I do in order to facilitate better fit after stretch. + One piece rolled finger tips ON ALL 4 KNIFE HANDING DIGITS. No more flat super stitched stupidness bunching up around your nails driving you insane. Even the thumb flat stitch is done in such a way that the stitch doesnt interfere with manipulation. + Simple closure that isnt obnoxiously bulky and covered with "tactical padding" for "those days out wrist striking people in the chops". Props for loop portion on the skin. Not really long enough though. Only one con. Seam where knuckle padding and cable knit (?) cover the top of your hand came undone after a week of continuous wear. A dab of gorilla glue saw that it wont worsen.
